Prospero and I have decided to offer a small print run of the N.Y.S.E. Open's logo on a playmat at this event. It will be limited to 30 copies. They came out fantastic, I must say. I'm really psyched to offer this and I hope the 30 of them will find happy homes with some of the attending players. Also, here are two other hand-drawn one of a kind Vintage-themed playmats that will also be for sale. I can't believe this event is just a few days away. Here's looking toward a great celebration of our favorite format.

Someone better retire me the right way... into the 0-2 bracket.
If I top 8 this event, you all should be embarassed. And I'll make sure you are!

Do we know what the price of the mats will be? Cause I would love to add one to my collection.

Yeah but it didn't work out because I dance to the beat of my own drum.

Just saying, but for my retirement party, I'll part words with this:
I'm the greatest alive OR Dead. You bring 'em out of the grave, and I'll put 'em back in.

THIS is what I ill do to the competition. You will let them pin you? Sometimes things go awry in the testing facility, it's the nature of the beast. For instance, look at video footage of Meandeck testing The Archborn Virus.

Sam and I are looking for 2-3 more carpool buddies to bring down travel costs, leaving and returning Sat. We're about two hours away and coming from Central Jersey/Trenton area. PM me if interested, thanks!

I think a meandecker, Dixon, Folonius (if he goes), JACO, Shawn Griffiths, Joel, or GLACKIN will win the event. Soly is only going to 0-2 if he doesn't drop after losing round one and tilting.

I will be playing Doomsday, and my W/L ratio's about 70% with that deck in the last 4 tournaments I've played at.

Looks as though I won't be able to make this one after all...unless perhaps a local Samaritan has an available sofa to crash on. I found a ride from Boston to Harlem, but that still seems to be 2+ hours away from this part of Long Island via MTA. In any case, best of luck to everyone, except for Soly who clearly doesn't need it. To those who don't throw in the towel, I'll see y'all next year for sure.

Just so that everybody is clear; the train station that you want to get off at (if you take the Long Island Railroad) is Hicksville. Hicksville is the closest to the venue. There will be cabs at the station, it shouldn't run you much more than $10 or so to get to the venue by cab.
N.Y.S.E. Open weekend is here. I hope you're all as psyched as I am.
