Uh oh, I was thinking about replacing the Llawan in the sideboard but now I fear it will be essential to survival.

You should switch to Magus of the Moat in case Joel is on the Treefolk plan.

Btw, totally psyched for this.

It's getting to the point where Elesh Norn has to be brought into Vintage to just spare us from these out of control Fish creatures.

Agreed.  Shady maples breakfast is the greatest!  The quality and amount of options are unparalleled by other buffets.  Can't tell you how many times it made me late for high school.

I hope all is well with the little one!

51 players, cut to Top 16. I'll let Cal do the honors of all that bracketing. WILL MAGRANN took it down though.

I am going to guess Joel was on my laptop at Game Day and posted this, but I echo the sentiment. Lol

Whoops, yeah, posted that while I was on your labtop Very Happy. Future mischief to ensue at an undetermined date.

Anyways, again, congrats, Will!

The prize payouts were absolutely insane, thanks, Calvin! Prizes through Top 16, 2x feature match prizes each round, Promo D Tutor for ending Swiss with the Belt, all a nice bonus. Can't wait to start seeing these larger events of yours pop up every few months or so! To those of you who weren't here, you really missed out!

Also, I actually prefer the Top 16 payout over just Top 8, given the higher attendance. I think a slightly more spread out prize structure will increase attendance in the long run, while not taking too much away from the top place winners. Theoretically, more people will be able to reduce their proxy count over time and either finish their vintage decks or be able to expand their deck options. I'd like to see more of that at all vintage events in general.
