Soooo, pro wrestling is fake. I couldn't care less. I have been a fan of it for 29 years. I will watch it till it is not an option in my life. I love it.
Last night the Undertaker lost to Brock Lesnar. I sat there in shock, jaw dropped and not one word could escape my mouth. Fast count? Foot on the rope? The ref fu#ked up? NOPE! The most important and impressive streak in the history of sports entertainment ended. To be honest, I still don't know what to think.
I know a ton of MTG players like, love or just watch pro wrestling. I would love to know what all of you think.

Can I get a he'll yea!

I used to follow wrestling a lot back in the day and its a shame that Vince and his boys would tarnish a legend like the undertaker with a 1x loss at WrestleMania.

From what I understand, Taker has been picking his matches for a few years now. He was also the person who would pick the guy who would break the streak. In old school pro wrestling you go out on your back. It was said that Brock was going to be the guy to end it a few years ago .

I don't see why, as Taker hates Brock on a personal level. It's pretty surreal.

I was under the impression that Taker and Brock are HBK and HHH tight.

It's not what I was lead to believe, but I've been misinformed before. Everything I've ever seen has been adversarial, but if it's all been a work (even off Event stuff) then that's another level altogether.

Interesting. I'm was completely unaware of the proper way to exit the ring/retire.

It was. You would lose your last match ,then come back later on down the road for your swan song.

Perhaps it was their intention to cause this uproar. I've talked to people who I haven't spoken to in years because the streak was finally broken. If their intention was to make people start talking about this everywhere, they have certainly succeeded.

"As ever," said Urza, "we wait."
