...for just a brief moment, you actually think that a flavor of gelato could be called "Mana Drain." Also, I find that I now unconsciously bluff Force of Will or Mental Misstep at some point in virtually every game of Magic that I play. It doesn't matter that I'm playing mono-green in a cube draft — if my opponent casts Brainstorm, I'm going to have to pause and look at my hand before it resolves. Share some of your finest "too much Vintage on the brain" moments.

More times than I should, I've explicitly moved to my second main phase before casting an important spell in Blue decks, while playing formats where Mana Drain isn't allowed.

Awesome thread! I referred to Plato's Academy as the Tolarian Academy during one of my college philosophy classes.

Whenever I look through a non-Vintage deck my first comment is usually, "How on Earth do you ever beat Workshops with this pile?" then they kindly remind me that this is Legacy/Modern/Standard/Draft/EDH and I just laugh and walk away.

When you're playing 1v1 Uno and you "combo out" against your wife and empty your hand in one go.

while playing formats where Mana Drain isn't allowed. I like to do this just to mess with legacy players.

I live near a Tabernacle.
It's not of the Pendrell Vale, but I 100% refer to it as such.
I once told my fiance that I needed a minute to get to my second main phase while falling asleep on the phone. What followed was awkward silence and a confused sound that woke me up.

You get excited like Christmas when a small package arrives in the mail, tearing it open literally 2 minutes after arriving home from vacation. Wife has a disgusted look and says "Magic...REALLY"? BAHAHAHAH

When you're playing 1v1 Uno and you "combo out" against your wife and empty your hand in one go.
Similarly, you make infinite mana and deck your three opponents on turn 6 of a Conspiracy draft. Apparently, we have trouble with the "causal" aspects of the game.
