Now I know everyone knows most of the rare staple cards for vintage, but I thought maybe compiling a list of common and uncommon cards that see play in vintage decks would be helpful to anyone looking to get into the format. It would also be a good way to keep updating the list when new sets come out and there are the few "diamonds in the rough" that should be added to the list. I'll break down the list by colors, and I'm sure I'll be forgetting to include some cards, so feel free to add anything that I overlooked.

What's a staple? A card that's often played, a pillar of a fringe deck, a fringe sideboard card, a fringe card in a fringe deck, a card that was never played but that could eventually? I haven't seen a Chain Lightning or a Fireball played in years and don't remember ever seeing an Ornithopter. Icy Manipulator probably hasn't been played in almost 20 years.

This really has nothing to do with Vintage strategy. It's just a list of cards. A list of any manageable size can never be complete, and it can even limit creativity. I'm locking this thread.
