Weekend was tons of fun. I stunk it up both days but had a blast in the process. Will be there next year to continue supporting the community. Fantastic stuff Nick!

Will we see all the deck lists out there? I want to see the Wingmate Roc goodies since that seems like spicy tech against Young Pyrodude.

Wait, this is a real thing? Are we talking Legacy or Vintage?
Yup, they kept mentioning it on stream that someone had Wingmate in their Humans list and was like 4-1 or 5-1 at the time, picking up his second loss way later.

I can see why Wingmate can be good, it's a strong clock and is probably the best creature against Pyromancer at that size. I guess Orzhov Pontiff isn't a slacker, but Wingmate is a big dude that offsets a lot of what Pyro wants to do.

I expected it to be in a Bomberman deck, or something, not a Humans list. Pontiff just seems infinitely better in Humans, no? Getting to 5 mana seems awkward without the help of Drain. Nonetheless, if anyone can find a list, or knows the person piloting the deck, I'd love to see it, too.

EDIT: I now see that it was a budget deck, which makes some sense.

Minkar, he played the Cursecatcher off Cavern so it couldn't be countered anyway. The missteps could have both targeted the Catcher or the way you stated it, because the end result would be the same.

Incorrect. He played the Adept off the Cavern. It would have been better to double Misstep the Cursecatcher.
....

Taps Cavern + Island
Plays Adept, draws a card.
Plays Cavern and taps it
Plays Curse Catcher.

Does anyone know if the coverage videos will be put on Youtube again this year?  or are they just being archived on twitch?

I would wait for confirmation from Nick, but my understanding is that the coverage will wind up on the youtubes at some point.

Videos are up:  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2ouC3y53nl7JsEXJR110QCRPhjBFuecc

Fair point. I obviously didn't see the second Cavern, thanks for pointing it out.

Do we know the list that won best unpowered?

Also are we going to see a large swath of lists posted like we did with NYSE: O2, or are we just getting the top 8? Heck if possible I'd volunteer to help with the data entry of the decks lists, if only to provide more data for this awesome format.

A friend of a friend was playing that deck and I believe he also ran pontiff. Considering 5 of my 11 matches were delver mirrors, playing a budget deck that stomps delver seems good.
Would he be willing to post his list, and how did he finish? Guessing his Oath Match up isn't terrible either with access to Pridemages and Decays.

I have every decklist, or nearly every decklist, from the events (there may be some missing that the coverage team took and didn't replace; don't know for sure yet). There's a big difference between typing and formatting 80 decklists from NYSE and typing and formatting 300 to 500 decklists each for these events, so not all lists are probably going to get typed.

I will be doing a large metagame analysis with the data on Eternal Central very soon, but am just getting back in the swing of things after returning from Philly. You can expect to see big articles on EC coming either this weekend or early next week. If there are specific decklists or lists from a player that you want to see, request them here and I will do my best to type them up and include them in each tournament roundup. We will have separate posts for each of the tournaments:
Vintage Prelim
Legacy Prelim
Vintage Champs
Legacy Champs
Old School 93-94

I am most interested in seeing the Prelim Top 8, which wizards didn't publish.  And the old school magic decks of course Smile

Awesome, thanks for letting us know. I didn't mean to sound impatient as I understand what a huge undertaking this is and I highly appreciate that you are doing this, so no rush at all I'm just happy I get to look forward to this.

Is it just me, or was there a LOT more coverage last year on the WotC website? I thought last year was great, but this year, not so much.
