We will be running one event each month at Top Deck Games, and participating in these events will earn you points towards 1 and 2 round byes at the 2014 Winter Open (Top 4 overall points earners get 2 byes, and 5th-8th get 1 bye). Additionally, the eight players who have earned the most points over the course of 2014 will be invited to compete in a single-elimination 8-man event at the Winter Open where the winner takes home $500 in Top Deck Games store credit. How do you earn points? Simple, you win matches. Let's say you play in an event where you go 4-2 in the Swiss rounds, win in the Top 8, and lose in the Top 4. You would earn 12 points for your Swiss performance (3 points per win, 1 point per draw, and 0 points per loss) and an additional 3 points for winning in the Top 8, for a total of 15 points! Also, any events that Top Deck Games runs that is a "larger" event (the Summer Open, for example) will be a 2x multiplier! Here's to more Vintage; I'm certainly looking forward to seeing everyone in 2014!
The Ninth Event!

To reward a random player who shows up early, at every Vintage event I run, if you register before 11:30, you will be entered into a drawing for a free booster pack! Who doesn't like free stuff?! Also, as always, we do allow late entries, but with a Round 1 loss.
