This was pre Cruise though Lance, just proving how powerful the card is in that deck.

I'm not sure I understand your sentence. Nov 22, the oath player certainly plays dig through time, the OP states that "A strong showing from Workshops/Oath really kept Treasure Cruise down, locking it out of the top 8 entirely."

I will be playing four of these.  I'll worry about the deck later.

This was last weekend, and we most certainly had access to Treasure Cruise. I even played against one of them.

I misread this report, I thought it was the one Nick was late on, that was for October but posted in November, my bad. On that note that's awesome then lol. See, people have adapted to Delver already! Treasure Cruise doesn't need restricted Smile

Yeah, as long as you play decks that specifically prey on Delver ie Shops and Oath.

Not surprised to see those archetypes now on top.

Congrats to the Top 8

This event was a blast, as is commonplace with all Nick Coss parties. We're incredibly lucky to have such a great community around these parts. If you've yet to come to a Vintage event at Top Deck Games and live within driving distance, I would strongly suggest coming to check one out.

I battled against a Workshop deck in each round of the top eight. I was close to pulling off the hat-trick, but Roland was just too powerful to overcome. The lone game that I won against Roland was solely due to his treacherous Mana Crypt. Congratulations on the win, buddy. Very Happy

It's worth noting that both Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time were legal in October, as well. Smile

Greg's Oath list and Mark's Oath list seem to have more then 60 cards. Is that correct or am I out of my mind?

Mark took the 75 that I was playing and tweaked it a tiny bit before the event began, but I highly doubt he added in a 61st card.

I can say with confidence that, outside of the Mana Crypt, my list is correct. I'm going to assume that Mark did not play a Mana Crypt either, so I believe that our lists are correct, except for the accidental addition of a Mana Crypt as the 61st card. Smile

It was a transcription error. Copy + Paste is the devil. They are both -1 Mana Crypt.

Yeah, thanks, that is exactly what I thought. Mana Crypt just doesn't fit in those lists. It was the first thing I cut while building my own thing. Anyways, I had a blast playing similar deck recently, it is a pleasure to pilot.

Only thing I can't get right (beside always setting my couters ratio wrong for given meta - I play lots of MTGO daylies, so it is very random) is the ratio and amount of late-game cards like Jaces/Digs/Gifts/Tezzeret and such. I often wish I had the other card instead, because Jaces are ofted dead due to own Orachrds, I often get far behind before I get my Dig to be active (mostly when it is in my opening hand). I've been experimenting with Gifts/Regrowth lately, but there are drawbacks too, so I'm kinda lost there.

Well, if you (or anyone) could make a short comment on your experience with those issues, I'd appreciate it very much.

PS: Sorry, if this is not a correct place to ask such questions.
