When I saw that, I suspected your fingerprints were on this one - fantastic stuff! Was Bloodbraid Elf an easy ommission? Cascading into moxen was always one of the reasons Jund never seemed to take off in Vintage, despite Ryan Glackin et al havnig some success with it.
Ask Jack but yeah I can't imagine BBE ever being very good, maybe if everyone was playing 4 x Jace. Moxes are one reason the Cascade is awful, the other more pressing matter is that any sphere kills cascade. I played Huntmaster in a couple of Cavern decks and while not earth rending he seems like a good all around 4. Huntmaster can profitably block, helps build your board and if a blue player wants to just sandbag permission his flip is pretty brutal, trample is probably more valuable now than it has ever been. You also get to shoot a planeswalker/face and a token/pyro at the same time. So anyway, I think his ceiling is higher and more easily reached. You've got Exava, Olivia and some other options if you want to ramp to 4, they've got their pluses and minuses.
I don't even play BBE in legacy Jund, it's a sacks card.
