Congrats to the Finalists, as both were my losses in the Swiss.

As for the list I played:

"Public Enemy Number One"

4 Undiscovered Paradise

4 Bazaar of Baghdad

4 Mana Confluence

4 Petrified Field

3 Cabal Pit

2 Dakmor Salvage

4 Bloodghast

4 Ichorid

4 Narcomoeba

4 Stinkweed Imp

4 Golgari Thug

4 Cabal Therapy

4 Unmask

4 Bridge from Below

4 Serum Powder

3 Life from the Loam

SIDEBOARD

4 Ingot Chewer

4 Serenity

4 Leyline of the Void

3 Barbarian Ring

The Rings and Pits were awesome tech. Kind of sucked that they dealt me quite a bit of damage but they are still incredibly strong. Life from the Loam met a Counterspell the only time it was cast today but it is deffinietly strong with the removal lands as well as just being an out to Wasteland on top of Petrefied Fields.

A mini report:

Round One: Lance Ballester on Dr. Edge's Laboratory (2-0) Win

Game One I had double Bazaar and he scooped fairly quickly

Game Two I had double Bazaar AND Leyline, not much to say here

Round Two: Calvin Hodges on some Agent of Bolas Brew (2-1) Win

Game One I did what Dredge does. Except he Tinkered away his Baleful Strix to kill my 4 Bridges to get an EE to kill my token army. Bloodghasts and Ichorids still get there.

Game Two was going well for me. Until he played Vault and Key in the same turn. He had Mana Crypt in play but Agent of Bolas was in play.

Game Three he kept an awkward hand with double Tormod's Crypt. I just played it safe and got there after he exhausted his Crypts.

Round Three: Matt Murray on Baby Jace.Dec (1-2) Loss

Game One was typical. Except I kept a Seven after Powdering which consisted of:
Bazaar, 2 Paradise, 4 Petrefied Field and he mulliganed to 5. He scooped after I casted Unmask.

Game Two was interesting. He used Baby Jace to Loot and then "Flashback" Ancestral, and then keep my Bloodghast at bay for a few turns, then "Flashback" Demonic Tutor getting Yawgmoth's Will with a Mentor in play.

Game Three I casted Unmask and Cabal Therapy Turn One, taking Gifts Ungiven and Containment Priest. He casted his only other nonland card, Ancestral to draw major gas. He Tinkered for a Blightsteel early. I had a Serenity in hand for ANY other Tinker target.

Round Four: Brandon "Ringer" Dempsey on Boat Control (1-2) Loss

Game One he went turn one Moat on the play. I managed to get Narcomoebas and Stinkweed Imps out to attack him on top of his Mana Crypt killing him.

Game Two he had multiple Containment Priests out. Eventually had Jace, Dack and Narset out and I couldn't win.

Game Three Jace ultimated before I could find Imps or Narcos to beat it down while he had Moat out.

All in all I loved the list and wouldnt change anything.

Thank you for the trades Sean Ottaway and thank you Shawn for hosting a great event.

Once again Congrats to the Finalists and the rest of the Top!

Maybe next month Zombies will eat everyone's brains!

Thanks again for hosting the event, Shawn.  It was great to see everyone and the football draft afterwards was fun.
