How is that a win more situation? This is what your deck is made to do.
How is that lucky?

Land destruction isn't the high-point of the deck.  If they're already land-screwed, they don't need you to help them along.

Never mind that fact that your Hymns and Hyppies have a pretty good chance at getting their lands, too.

However, basing the game around screwing their lands isn't always the key.  This IS Type 1 after all, and there's lots of ways to get mana without land.

If they're not drawing land, and they're not drawing non-land mana sources, they are having a bad game, and it's not your deck's doing.  Hence: killing ANY land during their mana-screw = win-more situation.

You don't run into that position all that often during a single tournament.  Hence, the focus on landkill being a losing strategy.  Nevertheless, it's still a very DISRUPTIVE strategy, which IS what this deck is meant to do.  That's why there's still landkill in the deck at all.

Landkill is good, and important in this deck. Not worth running field.

Yay were done.

The deck performed fairly well in its last set of testing. Two points

1. Masticore leaves for good. Leaving two open spots in the board

2 contagion
2 Chains of mephistopheles
2 Choke
3 Diabolic Edict
3 Naturalize
1 Pernicious Deed
2 OPEN SLOTS

2. This deck really wants to pack 2 chainers edict, diabolic edict, or contagion in the Main. It would give me a edge and much easyer to keep a more aggro hand where it is reasonable to.

Discussions on the open slots and thoughts on the mainboard changes.

Possibilites for the board are
+1 choke, + ?
or
+2 Dystopia

The wumpi one: 2 ROOT MAZE in BOARD....those are 73H 73CH (the tech) let's see what decks it screw over....how about a lot of'em (at least combo would whine like a puppy when they just realized that they can't go off.)

On the topic of diabolic edict...what on bloody earth are you going to remove from your deck for'em? Have some faith in your deeds and shades.

Ancestral into Lotus/Walk/Yawg Will is good. But a follow up AK that get you a demonic tutor's even better. True story from me on MWS.

Goot point on the root maze, ill look into those as a serious option. Basically i could loose nothing for edict. The only flexiable cards are the scrying and the dust bowl. I personally dont even see the scrying as option to take out, its sooo good.

I think that the factorys are necessary to go under the void. The llanowar waste should be dropped for the fourth factory, a wasteland, or even a mire. It should be 4/2 cause the wretch is better. It deals with most decks out there(tog, dragon, oshawa, etc.)
