Last Word and CotV/Nether Void

Just wondering what the interaction between Last Word and Nether Void / Chalice of the Void is?

Last word can't be countered by spells or abilities.
Counter target spell

Nether Void  b3
Whenever a player plays a spell, counter it unless its controller pays 3.

Chalice of the Void  xx
Chalice of the Void comes into play with X charge counters on it.
Whenever a player plays a spell with converted mana cost equal to the number of charge counters on Chalice of the Void, counter that spell.

I am guessing that if chalice is set at 4, Last Word still won't be countered.  And for the void I am guessing that the controller of Last Word would only have to pay uu2 and Last Word will still resolve.

You are right. Same things happen with [card]Blurred Mongoose[/card] for example.
