He could actually play the Tinker, then with Tinker on the stack, Crypt himself.

Since the sacrifice for the Tinker is part of the casting cost, the artifact will be removed by the Crypt before Tinker resolves and fetches DSC.

The Crypt however removes itself, because it's already in the graveyard once its effect resolves.

Attention: If any moderator thinks this announcement doesn't belong here for whatsoever reason, feel free to simply delete it without further notice!

Some of you may already know Morphling.de and those may have noticed, the lack of real updates.
Well I have been really busy with university and this mysterious "real life" that my priorities had pretty much shifted away from the game for quite some time.
Even though I have found some time to play in a few tournaments lately, my time remains limited as well as my motivation.

So right now I had a choice to make: What to do with Morphling.de?
I could just abandon the whole thing, I could give the complete thing into worthwhile hands or I could simply sell it to a generous Online Shop owner or someone just willing to pay money for it.

Thing is, for more than 40 months now, this page pretty much has been my baby, and I hope it has found its place in the community.
My main motivation for coding the page and maintaining it while putting so much of my spare time into it, was to provide information which, at least back then, no one did. Right now, you can barely find T8 decks on the page because most people think it's easier to just post them on the appropriate forum, so that people can discuss and especially instantly review them, something to which I couldn't agree more. This has somehow rendered Morphling.de less and less useful.

The right step therefore will be...

...to go ahead and restructure the page, keeping in mind, that most forums are ahead informationwise, and not only post decks from mails I receive, but also scout the forums for any kind of valuable information. If anyone feels his information is stolen when I copy them from their forum/page, feel free to contact me and I will immediately remove the "stolen" content and resign from pasting anything from their property in the future.
Additionally the content which is already in the database needed to be made a lot more accessible, since it has become so huge and will grow a lot faster now, therefore I have added a search function, which is still "beta" simply because I couldn't test it as much as I would've liked, and I have created new archives for Top8 Decks, Reports and Galleries as well as a restructured schedule, which can be easily filtered to find the desired information.

On top of that, I thought that maybe adding a script to automatically generate .dec files for Apprentice from posted decklists might be a good idea as well. You can find those downloads on the left below the corresponding decklist.

I have tweaked a few things, like putting a red marking next to fresh content in the Recent Box for 5 days, doing some statistics on highly played cards and adding a way to comment announcements.

The ad-banner will be permanently removed, there will not be a new one from now on, so don't bother me with any offers unless yours let's me forget the meaning of the phrase "going to work" for the rest of my life...

I have prepared a paypal donate account to compensate the loss of the ad-banner income, so feel free to donate if you think the page is worth it.

Right now, I hope everyone interested will like the redone Morphling.de and the community accepts this as my Christmas present...
All I have left to say, is wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

O.K. lets answer some suggestions:

First let me point out, that the whole thing was finished in a hurry so I could get it done before my exams come up, therefore several things were untested etc...

My code is poorly structured if you only look at the HTML code which the PHP creates, rest assured that my .php files are all very structured Wink

The page is optimized for a resolution of 1024*768 since this is the standard out there, I have tested the page on Mozilla, IE and Opera since these are the t3 used browsers.

Some people told me about probs with Mozilla Firebird and AOL Browser, while I do feel sad about the first, I'm actually happy that AOL users are unable to read my page Wink
I'm still trying to figure out, why exactly Firebird isn't able to fully understand the .css and therefore displays white on white text occasionally, but remember, Firebird is still beta.

The orange on blue thing is something I owed a friend of mine, since he suggested it for the very first version of the page back in 2002, but since everything is made with .css I can quickly change it to whatever idea I come up with. IF I ever come up with an idea at all.

If you're still having trouble with viewing the page right now, be sure to drop me a mail to: bugs@morphling.de with a description of the OS and Browser you are using and I'll try to fix it, if I find some time and motivation to do so.

A true Klingon does not comment on his code!

The 4th place deck is only 59 cards, Time Walk is probably missing from the list....

What's with the Plaguebearers added as a 61st card?

I have just added the Walk to make the deck 60 cards, Wompatoad must have missed it somehow, since it was on my list for sure Wink

The Plaguebearer was mainly against the flood of Control-Slaver decks we expected because of Maxims really strong performance last Dülmen. (7-0 14-1)
Somehow most players didn't bother to copy another winning deck, so no Mindslavers were seen at the top tables.

I didn't play it, since I think it's really bad in most matchups and his place is, if it belongs in the deck at all, in the sideboard.
