1  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: New York Northeast Vintage I on: January 17, 2012, 04:42:03 pm
The maindeck of that Hermit Druid list is really similar to something Storm and I had worked on via IM.  Not sure if the list is based on that, but its cool to see the idea worked.  I think the deck is actually quite good against everything but Shops, but an unwinnable Shops match-up makes me scared to try it.

Yea I assure you the only thing that influenced the construction of that deck was sex and bOoze. Oh and one really long Play test night between friends. The shop match tests went better than that top eight match. Can't win em all!

Pps Dan Mason is the goblin king. FYI

There is probably additional points awarded to top eight based on placement.

What is the player of the year race?  How are points earned?
[/quote]

I'm new to all of this but I assume it an accumulative total if points in all events attended. I'm only assuming this because I played in the last lotus event and had 3 wins, and now I'm on that chart at 9 points. In a standard event you get 3 points fir a win and 1 for a draw. This helps with initial parings and placement. Tie breaks go too opponents win percentages.

Hope that helped.

 2.  Misuse of Moderation Font.  Red bold and blue bold  are the text formats used by moderators when performing their official duties.  They should not be used by anyone else.  This helps eliminate confusion about what posts are official moderation actions.

Red Bold, Not Normal red...

I have been trying a new decklist with mixed results.  I found the list on another site in which it won a tournament, and people's thoughts on the deck seem to be split evenly as good and bad.  For me, it seems to totally dominate the game from early on or flounder early on.
Here is the decklist...
2 Darksteel Citadel
4 Mishra's Workshop
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Seat of the Synod
7 Island
3 Thada Adel, Acquisitor
4 Master of Etherium
4 Lodestone Golem
4 Triskelion
1 Inkwell Leviathan
1 Mox Emerald
1 Black Lotus
1 Mana Crypt
1 Mox Ruby
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Jet
1 Mox Pearl
4 Chalice of the Void
1 Mana Vault
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Time Walk
1 Merchant Scroll
1 Hurkyl's Recall
1 Tinker
1 Trinisphere
4 Force of Will
4 Thoughtcast

Has anyone else seen a similar deck or played using it?  If so what are your thoughts?
This needs metal worker to power out Mycosynth Lattice and tinker Memnarch for shits and giggles.

Diddy up was everywhere

At $10.19 per, no less.

I got my play-set of them......cheaper than most mythic rares.......
Poor trade choice. For the same price you could have enjoyed a black berry delight margarita + keep the shaker tops.

Nick, a slight warning, i am a horrid photographer,  Very Happy

Also, i don't do the Facebook thing.

Do you want me to send you a zip file of all them (on a site like Rapidshare)?  Or do you want them posted here as thumbnails with funny captions? Mind you after removing terrible blurry dupes, it is 184 MB's, so i don't think i can email them all.

I hope you got the picture of the second stall in TGIF.

EPIC
