1  Eternal Formats / General Strategy Discussion / Re: Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas on: February 05, 2011, 02:03:20 am
I see him as a permanent Tendrils of Agony. He let's you start your storm count before he enters the battlefield. He makes 5/5 haste creatures to attack jace with. What I guess I'm seeing is this guy is a defendable tendrils storm that sits there letting you build up the artifact count over a few turns. He can also shrink Blightsteel to a 5/5 taking the poison pressure off a little longer. I don't think I like his first ability though.

Don't forget that unlike DSC, if you and your opponent both have Blightsteels out and they go into combat they will wither each other to 0 toughness. Right?
3  Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: MTGChicago // Stasch Kuras // SKuras // Scam on: December 15, 2010, 12:30:09 am
I had a problem with MTG Chicago about a year ago. I ordered 4xSmallpox 4xDeath Cloud 2xWorldgorger Dragon after a month I called them and they finally sent me my order. From my experience i say don't order expensive cards for your first order until you know a store is trust worthy. Another store that rips people off is The Mana Crypt.com. I ordered 2xUrborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth and 1x Memory Sluice. They charged my card, took the money and never sent my cards. I emailed them and they said they were having server problems? I tried to email again they never responded. They still haven't sent my cards after almost a year.
4  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Re: Infinite turns with Magosi, the Waterveil in Standard on: December 11, 2010, 11:16:39 am
I started thinking does Magosi, the Waterveil work like Wormfang Manta so you don't get an extra turn if the  leaves the battlefield ability triggers over the enters the battlefield ability so you just end up cancelling the two out? Can a rules advisor straighten this out?
5  Vintage Community Discussion / Non-Vintage / Infinite turns with Magosi, the Waterveil in Standard on: December 11, 2010, 06:24:40 am
I realized that if Magosi, the Waterveil was an artifact land it wouldn't be so bad. Now with Liquimetal Coating it can be an artifact. Amulet of vigor gets around the enters the battlefield tapped drawback. Voltaic Key let's me untap after tapping for an eon counter so i can get my extra turn right away. Magosi goes back to my hand. Now i can do it all over again at the cost of two mana. I am still in the early brainstorming stages of this deck idea. I'm thinking Memnite and Kuldotha Rebirth are great beatdowns for early game lockdowns. After you get this going your land count will not go up unless you have a Primeval Titan type of thing going on.This does take a bit of set up so a more controlling build is looking good at the moment. I'm still not down to a color combination for this idea so all constructive criticism is welcome. Thank you in advance.

  Infinite turn package
  2-4 Magosi, the waterveil
  2-4 Amulet of Vigor
  2-4 Voltaic Key
  2-4 Liquimetal Coating
  2-4 Expedition map
  4 Trinket Mage

p.s. budget is not a problem Wink
