I would love to attend, but unfortunately it is too short notice, i cannot renew a passport in time. I do, however, have a question. Is this going to turn into a yearly event, if so i will put together a group of players from the Philly/bluebell area to get our asses over to Italy for a nice vacation.

Mhm this will be the most POWERFULL tournament. Please come for tournament and holidays Smile

If you allowed 5 proxies even, don't you think you would get a lot more people, and more people playing more competitive decks? What is the downside to that? I'm interested in coming from the US.

Mhm I think that MAGIC the gathering is not a FAKE game proxies....! In italy and europe proxies tournaments are not specials. I think that people will come for prices... not for proxies; peraps your idea is not a bad idea but I want to do the biggest VINTAGE ever santioned DCI...and proxies are not admitted.

Thanx for your help! I hope to see u at the tournament

    4  Wasteland
    1  Strip Mine
    1  Mana Crypt
    1  Sol Ring
    3  Simian Spirit Guide

Creatures
    4  Goblin Lackey
    4  Goblin Piledriver
    4  Goblin Warchief
    4  Goblin Matron
    3  Goblin Ringleader
    1  Goblin Recruiter
    2  Siege-Gang Commander
    3  Gempalm Incinerator
    1  Stingscourger
    1  Goblin Tinkerer
    1  Goblin Sharpshooter

Spells
    4  AEther Vial
    4  Chalice of the Void
    3  Pyrostatic Pillar

Sideboard
2  Crash
3  Shattering Spree
3  Pyrokinesis
2  Red Elemental Blast
2  Pyroblast
3  Tormod's Crypt
1  Pyrostatic Pillar

Try it and let me know!

Against Goblins, instead of Verdant Force (or to help it) I like  Blazing Archon too (http://ww2.wizards.com/gatherer/CardDetails.aspx?&id=83754).

If I get something, not in a professional championship, I will make you know if you are interested.

Thank you for your time and help and sorry for my later reply. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Hi yes is a cool creature but remember with Verdant force you have the solution for goblin and artifact decks

Every turn a creature... Every turn a permanent...! Think about it

See u later..!

° SPELLS (35)
4x Hymn to Tourach
4x Duress
2x Cabal Therapy = 1 more Cabal ( you may have 61 cards )

2 Unmask against control decks/combo

Deck is not stronger for serious tournaments but I mean that is playble. Nice list I approve it !!!

21  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: [Disc]Bazaar Engine (edited name) on: December 25, 2007, 05:41:50 pm
Hi all!

In Italy the story is:

2004/2005
Lot of time ago Worldgorger Deck was a strong Tier 1... because you may play it within 2 diffrent type of methods:

UBR: Forces, duress, various REB and the combo
BRG: Unpowered with ESG, Rods, Duress and the combo

2005/2006
GIFT.... destroy the metagame and lot of decks doesn't alive. You want to play combo control? U play gift... not dragon.

NOW 2006/2007/2008

Bazaar... a card that on ebay is 100 dollars... 120 dolllars... in italy price range from 140 to 160 Euros... but anyone want it:

The conseguence is:

Bazaar only in the ichorid "BABY" deck for Unpowered players who want to play that have no money...

DRAGON: DEAD DECK... in Europe u may watch TOP8 reports... probably is 1 years without Dragon: WINNER.

Madness deck... DEAD

STAX: you may play Vroman's Stax but NOW... Stacker MONO BROWN with 9 Sferes is ONE OF THE STRONGEST TYPE 1 DECK.
You don't have to do Welder... bazaar... and wait a TURN. Mono Brown: starts... WIN.

mhm... Flash Decks and GAT I mean that havent's no POSSIBILITY to play SERIOUSLY that card.

Bazaar of Bagdad is a nice card... Like Library... you may play... you may buy.... you may dream to win a tournament now with BAZAAR DECK.

Thanx

Fantaman

22  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: [Deck] B/u Nether Void Control on: December 25, 2007, 05:23:08 pm
Mhm I watch your deck list and N.Void was a stronger card, the problem is that PRO players all over the world doesn't RISK that DCI points or tournament to test these type of deck.

About you deck list I made some changes:

4 Chalice of the Void
4 Nether Void
4 Duress           = 4 Duress against the MOST stronger decks like GAT, Storm, C.slaver, Flash and Co.
3 Stifle           = 3 are sufficient
2 Echoing Truth
1 Trinisphere      = This is the card that I prefer... eheheh!

4 Force of Will = Forces are necessary against first turn opponent... REMEMBER YOU have to play them
4 Brainstorm
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Necropotence  = It's a risk card... but more stronger than D.consultation or something else.
1 Demonic Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor

Creatures
3 Dark Confidant = It's an idea because with these cards u have more possibility to draw; I know
that nantuko are STRONGER but you don't have LOT of black mana and I prefer to draw two cards
and simply beat my opponent with factories and confidant.

28 Cards mana base
4 Dark Ritual
1 Black Lotus
1 Mox Sapphire
1 Mox Jet
1 Sol Ring     = THIS CARD IS ONE OF THE STRONGEST in your deck. Probably Mana crypt is another card to take inside
3 Mishras Factory    Kill Creatures
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
4 Underground Sea
4 Polluted Delta
1 Swamp
1 Island
2 Ancient Tomb

NO TINKER... you have to play tinker with artifacts not only with 2 moxes, lotus and a ring...

Sideboard
3 Crucible of Words = Crucible agains stax one big idea: land ritual crucible... chalice 0...!
4 Leyleine of the Void = stronger against ichorid and yawgmoth
3 Red Elemental Blast = This is an idea... so you may have more counters agains GAT, Drains deck, Gift and Co.
1 Volcanic Island =  to play with REB
2 Pitting Needle = mhm I don't know if this is a nice choice... better 2 Smother... goblins and WuTang are not easy...
and you may play smother agains GAT
2 Contagio = STRONGER STRONGER STRONGER...!!!!

This deck was played lot of time ago in Italy from my friend with 12/12 and masks. Stronger deck!!!

You have to test this deck with more moxes, try rods or Scimian/ESG !!!

Try it!

Good Luck I will play it in gennuary on a little tournament... we will see how it works propely!

Cya

Hi Fantaman,

that looks like a pretty cool tournament even if it was only 130 players. I hope you didn't loose too much mony because of that. Why didn't you participate yourself? I really hope that i can make it down for the next one.

To the decks: I am really surprised that there were such strong appearances of fish. I thought fish was dead especially in your meta with soo much stax and combo. I really like the gambles and especially the Show and Tell in T4. Show and Tell is awesome! Smile

The tournament dear Heiner was the same day of Prague's PRO TOUR so not so much players come to me.
I lose this time some money but you know I'm an organizer so I love this game and it's own risks. Next time will be better.

I don't play because we want to look and helps for the best on this event. Next time I will be in the list ehhehe.

Show and tell yessss it's nice nice nice!

Bye

The Mountains Win Again!

ehheheh. Yes the welders wins again.... probably Welder Mud is sooo strong and impressive....more than every player knows.

Bad time with only one trinisphere ... pearaps s.of res. are sooo cool again!

Have you seen GAMBLE tech cards? sooo cool....nice nice nice nice.

 Cool

25  Eternal Formats / Global Vintage Tournament Reports and Results / Re: Nightmare Italian Vintage Tournament - Report and Decklist on: May 12, 2006, 12:28:11 pm
some of the Oath lists - like the one who seems to have just added Mishra's Factories look to have thought, but others like this one

http://www.thefuturecity.com/nightmare/liste/12.txt.dec

are just a hodge-podge of cards (2 brainstorms?  Crucible, random artifact hate) and not focused at all.  I think that's what he meant by "weird".

Mhm yes seems to be a joke have 2 brainstorm....

probably is a " scrub " list...

unvelivable .... 2 brain are without sense.

My Brain...( not the storm ) thinks like Dante.

wOA... in italy the meta is sooooo different....

probably in europe meta is very strange then U.S. tournaments.

Control slavery is simply not played in italy... ( only one or two players have this deck at PRO tournaments  )

it's a strong deck but italian guys ignore it like a belcher combo deck....   Mad

I think that it's time to play on tournament the dredge.deck... but..... ehm this deck it's very very under Tentrils variants comboS at the first match with no sideboard...

Thinking sooo much on this speeeed deck.

I'm reading all the post nice nice help from U.S. thanx!

Hi all,

it's a long time, probably one month, that I'm out of TMD. ( Excuse-me )

I've tested for a long time this deck and I'm very satisfied about the strong and fast hands on the magic board.

I'm playing the deck with TWO powerfull cards that in some situations they save my life or give me the DREDGE card in my graveyard:

Life from the Loam and ENTOMB.

Entomb it's very very strong if you don't have the dredge card in your grave!

Life from the loam sometimes with chalice 0 first turn may kills many decks with the recurring STRIP MINE.... hihihi

Let me know what do you think.

---
Very strong the Root maze... ( I play 3 oxidize sideboard, 4 chains, 4 Needle, 4 N.Road )
---

Ehm last word: I don't play balance...; I know it's sooo strong but I prefer the Loam.

Thanx a lot for interest.
