Hey,
I was just wondering if the new posting on The Mana Drain meant that the
February 19th tournament had been moved to april 23. Just let me know
because me and some other guys were considering coming down from Minneapolis
for it.

Apologize for the confusion. Got some emails asking if the date changed to April 23rd. The answer is NO. The event is February 19th at 6810 w. archer ave in Chicago. We were just trying to explain we will be giving away 2 invites to the upcoming Invitational on April at pastimes on top of the Timewalk. We apologize for the confusion. Is our believe T1 organized play on a nation wide background is very much possible. The folks at www.CreativeGamingEvents.com (Psa Invitational organizers) came up with alternative organized play with the goal of going world wide. Wizards may cooperate or try to kill the project. Either way, the struggle continues... it is clear to us that organized play for T1 is long overdue. |

I could tell you PSA Graded cards 9 or 10 are in high demand. So much so there is even an invitational for them. I'm in the other hand the type player that would buy the cheapest power possible just to be able to play tourney's.
There are several people though that are willing to pay big bucks for psa 10. We know of at least 3 collectors trying to get a complete set of PSA 10 beta cards and a bunch trying to get unlimited sets psa 10. I can not even imagine what a beta set psa 10 would go for! 40,000? 50,000? who knows, and who would pay?? The fact remains P9 cards are more and more expensive with time and MINT Power is getting harder and harder to get thus the rules of supply and demand will be a big factor in years to come.
