For those who don't know...Outlaw DID NOT play R/G beats at Myriad, for which he was severely mocked. He claims he will play it at an upcoming event. Time will tell if he is a man of his word.
He told me his reason for not playing R/G beats was that "if I am driving 3 hours to a tourney, I'm going to win".
Let it be known that I beat his "winning deck" in the swiss and then watched him get eaten alive by Rob Moreau in the first round of the top 8.
I've never been one to trash talk, but this is fun. Type 1 needs more rivalries.
Whatever you decide to make him play, you should make him wear a dress while playing it. Men don't welch on bets |

I was there for day 1. The metagame was extremely diverse. Out of the 97 decks we were able to scout, there were 9-12 of Stax, Shop aggro, GAT, Naughts, combo, drain control, Oath and goblins. Could you please explain this. Are you saying that you, and I assume your teammates, went around the room and took down the name and decktype of 97 different players out of the 126 during the tournament? Maybe my thinking is out of line but if that is the case I feel it is pretty unethical. Is this type of thing common in say Pro Tour or Grand Prix play? |
