1  Eternal Formats / Creative / Re: Burning Slaver. Which Way is the Best Way of Winning? on: March 07, 2006, 05:47:28 pm
In my opinion it really depends on the situation, like which game you are in and if you have him on a slaver lock. If you have him in a slaver lock and can put a robot on the board you win with the robot for the reason that you don't want to give your opponent to much info. Like he many not know that you are playing the burning wish, they might just think you are playing old fashion slaver and not burning slaver. Also if you have him in the slaver lock they can't topdeck there way out because they don't get to play. I'm a burning slaver player myself (and test with demars very frequently) and that's my personal opinion. But if you don't have a slaver lock or you can't slaver him until you have won the game with the robot then just will it up and win the game.

Now round one in top 8 didn't go that easy for you Brian. I lost game one because I play error-ed and didn't know the game state(thinking you were in main phase 2 not 1) so your drain mana let you activate slaver. You also got game 2 confused with game 3 because if I remember correctly in game 2 you went turn one Library and didn't draw a land till turn 3 and I played a turn 3 gifts and you said "let's go to game 3" Well doesn't matter to much, I screwed it up pretty bad but I learned from it.

By the way I am on the drain now, lol. This is my user name.
