I am just letting everyone know that I have upgraded and improved the website.  The new URL for One Basic Forest is now www.onebasicforest.org

Hi, I am the creator of One Basic Forest.

I will be updating the site soon with a complete history of trades.

Some may not be on there because sometimes I do quick trades at FNM, etc.

But, starting it off, I did a trade of the forest for a overgrown tomb.  From there someone offered about $50 worth of various cards for the tomb, and after that it has been small trade after small trade.

The site is updated after every trade, and I will trade in person at any event I am at.  I am hoping to go to Minneapolis sometime soon for some larger events. (I live in northern minnesota).

Yup, I 100% took the idea form the One Red Paperclip, but I am not doing it for self-gain.  I am donating 100% of the proceeds to chatiry.

Hello,

Round #3 of the One Basic Forest is up and running!

One Basic Forest is basically a campaign that I am trading up from a basic forest up to a alpha/beta black lotus. I will then sell the card on ebay, and then donate 100% of the proceeds to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Up for trade in round #3 is a lot of 13 cards. Please visit my site, http://onebasicforest.blogspot.com for the cards in the auction, current bids, more info, and help promote this great cause!

Bids can be emailed to onebasicforest@gmail.com as well.

Thanks,
SaumZ

I am Jayson Saumer

I am basically a Legacy player, that is all we have for tournaments up in Duluth, Minnesota.

I've been playing siince about 1997.  I havn't been to any big tournament appereances or anything like that, but I am still well versed in legacy.  I am wanting to learn more about vintage as well.  I am currently playing Iggy-Pop, and No-Stick (wtf) in Legacy.  In 1.x I am playing heartbeat combo, and in t2 I am playing heartbeat combo.  I also love playing other formats like 250 and Madison highlander.

I am also holding a charity fund raiser called One Basic Forest.  I am trading up from a basic forest up to a alpha/beta black lotus, just like the red paperclip story.  But, I will be selling the lotus on ebay and donating 100% of my proceeds to St. Jude Children's hospital.  The website is http://onebasicforest.blogspot.com

Thanks,
Jayson
