Also, I have a meeting with my Home Owner's insurance claim adjuster Tuesday, and they say it's a long shot, but maybe they will do something for me.
Sorry to hear about your collections being stolen David and Rich. I actually work in auto claims so I have some knowledge of the homeowners side of claims. I strongly recommend anyone that has sizable Magic collection, or any collection for that matter, to take pictures of it. Most homeowners policies, and even some renter's insurance polices, have personal property clauses in them that allow for a limit of around $2,500 to be claimed in the event of theft. Unfortunately, I'm almost certain no homeowner's polices will allow you to add a rider for a collection of cards onto the policy due to the nature of risk involved. If you do have pictures as evidence of your collection you may be able to claim up to the $2,500 personal property limit though. I'll check this week with the property department head just to clarify. $2,500 going towards a collection that looks to be around $15k-$20k definitely doesn't accomplish much, but it's something.... That being said this is a great event and I'll try and be there with a full car! I had my collection stolen a few years back, and my homeowner's covered $2,500. It was a drop in the bucket, but it's at least something. When I started amassing a collection again I talked to my insurance company and was able to get my collection covered. It just took some pictures as well as a 3rd party appraisal. Best of luck both with the event and in recovering your cards guys. Really sorry to hear about both of your losses.

This is the SECOND time Ron has organized a Vintage tournament to occur on the same day as my Legacy events I organize in Bloomfield. So once again...we'll have a crap turn out because we've been outdone.
Attacking someone in a public forum is obviously the best way to resolve a conflict. No wonder nobody shows up to your events. RitNecroWin posted the event on October 1st. 4:00pm. That's why these posts have time stamps. Learn 2 Forums imo.

@Kowal I was your opponent (Justin Morford) playing GAT. You top decked like an absolute mad man in our match, I mean seriously, who does that!?!?! (at one point it was Gush into A.Call, Yawg Will) At any rate, there's no point in being angry about it. Just wish my deck would've coughed up more than 2 Duress effects (I was packing 8) in 2 games. Becker managed to flop the nuts against me on Day 2 (T-1 killed me through what would've been a monster of a hand, minus Duress yet again, were they just avoiding me?). Despite my opponents flopping the nuts from time to time, it was fun.

I've had some pretty memorable games at the Hero Zone, with Paul Kim, Nat Moes, Jerry Yang, Mark Trogdon and a host of others.
Imo, the thing that has really pushed Flash into the stratosphere is the inclusion of the Reveillark kill. When flash was limited to needing to pack either X-Men kill or required an attack phase, it was less of a monster to deal with. The instant speed kill, and subsequent available plays are what makes it the elephant in the room.
