In my experience recently when I took a traditional manaless ichorid list to a mox jet tournament running 4 leyline and 4 chalice main it won me more games than even I realized. For example, I was playing a deck called UNO or tropical storm first round and first game I dropped leyline with chalice and he tryed to storm around it but couldn't find a tutor but had yawg will with storm 14!!! Eventually he had to time walk then tinker for DSC. Leyline against combo may seem subpar to most but I highly suggest testing it and you will find it will pull you more wins on its own.

I have all the duel lands so budget is not a problem. The fact that the Dryad Arbors are green I wanted to keep the duel lands part green for emerald charm and reverent silence. So the sideboard if I'm understanding correctly as you are suggesting with blue would look like this?
//Sideboard 4 Reverent Silence 4 Tropical Island 4 Chain Of Vapor 1 Breeding Pool 2 Emerald Charm
The chalice won me more games than I can count in the mox jet tournament I attended last weekend. I realize it won't be affective against most decks but it did help a tremendous amount (especially against Flash Hulk). Plus it protects against crypt in game 2 which I have seen. The street wraith can probably go because I have noticed its only done a minor amount of acceleration. It would be probably better to maindeck unmask in that spot. I'll test that out and post.

Well I've recently acquired four Bazaar of Baghdad and have no power so the obvious deck to build is Manaless Ichorid.
First let me supply the deck list that I have been using
// Lands 4 Bazaar Of Baghdad 4 Dryad Arbor
// Creatures 2 Cephalid Sage 2 Flame-Kin Zealot 4 Golgari Grave-Troll 4 Golgari Thug 4 Ichorid 4 Narcomoeba 4 Stinkweed Imp 4 Street Wraith
// Spells 4 Bridge From Below 4 Cabal Therapy 4 Chalice of the Void 4 Dread Return 4 Leyline of the Void 4 Serum Powder
//Sideboard 4 Contagion 2 Emerald Charm 3 Forest 4 Reverent Silence 2 Oxidize
I had a terrible time against oath of druids game 2 when they stuck in Blazing Archon. I had no response. One card that came to mind that would be good to put in was snuff out which would take out both platinum angel and blazing archon.
How do you feel about my current build and if its even accurate as far as its sideboard. The basic forests are there for Magus Of The Moon game two against workshop aggro. Contagion is for Jailer and random other annoyances like True Believer. Emerald Charm and Reverent Silence are for leyline of the void. Oxidize is the most questionable slot I can think of. I didn't use it out of the 5 rounds I played at the mox jet tournament. But then again the decks I was playing against was Oath, Red Workshop Aggro, Uno, and Super Long.
My question to everyone is what do you feel about the sideboard and main deck? My feelings about this deck and its viability is strong but I feel like its missing just a couple tweaks to the sideboard and mainboard possibly. Unmask has been a thought but what to take out. The Cephalid Illusionists seem like a win more condition to me but I have had countless games where I have dug deeper and won because of them where I would normally if they weren't there have to wait another turn.

Okay tournament report from the Ichorid/Ventura side of things.
Round 1 Dr_Tongue with Tropical Storm
Game 1 I was going up against what I thought was GAT which was a big mistake. I went crazy with a bazaar dumping a good half if not more into my grave. He was half way down on life if I can remember correctly. Then he casts time twister to reset me. Eventually I power through.
Game 2 Really bad on my part due to expecting leylines and boarding out chalice. He ended up dumping crypt and I realized I would be stalled so I decided to force him to use it early by producing threats. He ended up storming a crazy amount and ended the storm with timewalk and went to his second turn producing a DSC. I had two narcomoeba's on board with bazaar tapped and staring at a DSC with like 8 life or something and no therapy's in grave with two bridges. I die. Round time is called.
Round 2 was against Scrub Oath
Game 1 I remember that first game I couldn't find any dredgers after 3 bazaar activations... then die to Razia.
Game 2 Sideboarding I figured 2 oxidizes was strong since he was putting in Platnium Angel and I did typical sideboard against leyline. First turn I drop bazaar. His first turn he drops oath. Second turn I activate and find oxidize and dryad arbor! Second turn he activates oath and I sit there waiting for platnium angel when I realize Blazing Archon hit. GG
Round 3 Workshop Aggro (Red)
Game 1 Typical Ichorid game 1. Mass out and kill. Couldn't do dread return with sphere being in play but ichorid and zombies did the trick.
Game 2 He resolves jugernaut first turn putting me on a fast clock along with wasting my bazaar. I go the really slow route and dredge until I get a couple ichorids and eventually find 3 bridges off one dredge and win.
Round 4 Worse than gro (I'm not totally sure if this is correct due to him only playing lands before I win)
Game 1 Kill on second turn with 2 bazaars and alot of hasted 3/3 zombies
Game 2 Didn't see leyline yet again and go nuts on turn 3 for the win.
Round 5 Worse than Gro (With counterbalance)
Game 1 I find 4 bridges on second turn and go off.
Game 2 I find 2 narcomoebas and 2 ichorids and drop a dryad arbor turn two and go off.
Tournament ended there for me due to a tie breaker for 8th.
I want to thank everyone at the store for putting this tournament on and also for letting us hang out for 30 minutes at 4:00am even though you were closing. We had a great time and will definatly come again. Lotushead thanks for the help throughout the tournament. It was definatly alot easier having someone that was friendly to talk to in the middle of matchups along with dr. tounge

Well I'm going to start by saying I started playing during Champions of Kamigawa block which makes me a very new magic player. I have a very competitive attitude though and have been reading the mana drain since I started tournaments in type 2 and legacy. I admire Bardo, Vroman, Smennen, and Feinstein for their theories and advancements of the vintage and legacy formats. I hope the community will enjoy my posts as much as I have enjoyed reading theirs.
