Eternal Formats / Bazaar-Based Decks / Re: Griselbrand Dredge

I did not mean to sound like it can't happen. Every person and deck has its run goods. At the last legacy 5k I went to in Indie, out of 9 rounds I won over half the games I played on turn 2 and 2 games turn 1 with RUB doomsday. But I still wouldn't say it was a consistent turn 2 deck. I just happened to be running pretty hot that day.

I think I have to agree with whitedragon here. You have 13 dredgers, but two of them are salvage. which seems solid. but not explosive. Also only having 1 Grislbrand and only bazaars to really dredge deep with, And no way to get more bazaar activations (titan, stitcher). On top of that your playimg the full 8 ichy+ghast. All in all this list looks more like it intends to grind game till turn 3/4. which is not nesicarily a bad thing if its smooth and consistent... But consistent turn 2s.... I really don't believe that and I think I've given some decent reasons to support my opinion. If you wanted to be a more explosive. Ide suggest looking at Sun Titan lists and finding a good place to stick a grislbrand or 2.

Y not just run emrakul+flame-kin zealout? Its the primary package I used when attempting DotH in legacy. 19 hasty damage+anihilator 6 should win about any game in. Non powered envitironment. And with a few exceptions zealout will still give emrakul haste and +1/+1 even if they have removal for zealout.

To support gush you want to keep your curve really low. Yes cobra let's you produce a lot of mana, but seeimg as storm is an important part of your deck chaining multiple cheap spells will ger u farther than something like fact or fiction. Vault/key, tinker/bot, and storm seems like too manyy things your trying to do.. ide suggest cutting at least one of these from the main. Cutting tinkerbot would also allow you to cut some of the off color moxen opening room for the full set of preordains.

How about try xantid swarm over welder, its gszable, gives you the needed reziliance vs counters, and between chancelors, esg, and landgrant>>duels, green is your most consistent initial mana color.

Vintage Community Discussion / General Community Discussion / Re: MTGChicago // Stasch Kuras // SKuras // Scam

Though i have never dealt with Stasch in the past. I will be making sure to keep an eye out for him at future events. I just wanted to give people a head up about a scam artist in my local area. "Lincoln, IL, its almost exactly halfway between chicago and st.louis" His name is Brian Brumfield. He is very well known in the area for doing many of the same things as Stasch. Though the more experienced players in the area know better than to deal with him. He does run a "shop" of out his house called "Elite sports cards". and all the younger kids in the area just getting into the game go there not knowing any better. Luckily for everyone in the MTG community i don't think that he has done anything as large scale as Stasch. But back when i first met him. "he was my neighbor" he admitted to me that he had multiple ebay accounts because "people just kept leaving him bad feedback". So I just advise people to not deal with Brian Brumfield, Elite Sports Cards.. or any ebay account or email address that might refer to Juzim55 from the Central Illinois Area. If this post even helps one person not get ripped off by this scum bag then it was worth putting my 2 cents in.

i just played a guy in legacy that went by "KKK" i'd suggest avoiding him..it was almost like playing against sepheroth. He gets angry if you take time to think. he spends forever taking a turn. And he cheated almost every turn of the game. Every turn he would play a top, and look at the top 3 cards without paying the activation cost... On top of that he claims to be a very famous pro "very sepherothish" and loves the word "amatuer". normally i'd post bits of that match.. but i played it out for a long time to see how bad he'd get.. and am now too tired to go back through and pick out details of the game.

This deck looks like so much fun.. Has anyone thought about testing Waterfront bouncer? 2 mana may be too much.. but he's clampable, pitches to force, and is another way to keep annoying critters off your apponents side of the board. P.S. Why couldn't Bazaar Trader say enchantments more of a causual way but Mycosynth lattice, donate enchantments all day hm....maybe as another tinker target..

I was just curious what other people thought about muddle the mixture in flash. It is slow, but it offers more counter protection in the stupidly counter heavy metta, gives you an uncounterable way to find flash. and is amazingly good against ichorid for its ability to counter dread return, or fetch echoing truth to remove zombie tokens.
