It was great seeing you Jeff and Galen its has been a few years for sure. I am glad that northern California wants to put great vintage events still. I will be coming to all of the Sacramento vintage tournaments and a few Berkeley tournaments this year. Thanks to VSTG for running a tournament I love playing.

When our team was testing goblins heavily, we found that most decks had really hard matchups against goblins. escpecially fish and ichi. oath was definitely the hardest matchup for goblins but was winable. The inclusion of the tech card mogg salvage helped against the tez matchup which was a favorable match anyway but made it easier. And it was an unexpected card to see. Very Happy. Great article Stephen

in our current meta we have a lot of bob tez, so mogg salvage was an amazing find and helped to a 3-0 record against bob tez in the last tourny. In hind sight we probably should have put a shock land instead of ancient ziggurat but you know sometimes things just stay where they are. but for the full set of cabal therapies. i would rather have those than duress or thoughtseize, because in our meta there were a lot of forces, which i believe makes cabal therapy better. potentially getting 2 for 1 and clearing the way for earwig is just better in my opinion.

"Cunning Wish – This is a pet card that adds a lot of flexibility. It got me Extirpate to neuter Long/TPS in game one. That alone justifies its inclusion in my opinion."

Yeah you might have won the first game. But as I recall I won games two and three. Thats what you get for playtesting this matchup with me for hours on end. But Scrubby Bubbles did represent 4 players in top 8.
