Twister is good still, even with no Necrodeck. It's kinda nice vs. Obliterate too.
Honestly, those threads remind me of just how much better TMD is than BD was. The stacker one in particular looks like it came straight off SCG or Brainburst.

Wow, someone picked up on recruiter / ringleader there. I wonder if the Japanese who played it at worlds in berlin read those threads (to be honest, they are the ones who were piloting it in extended, and making it known to the world. Later, YMG's Tom Guevin added the FC's.)

Every single person that has had the beating that is Null Rod, phallic superstar dropped on them doesn't think much of it at first. Then when they try to do Lotus-Will-Lotus and notice that they actually only have 4 mana and start cursing. Or drop a ton of Moxen with intent to cast something huge. All that's left to say is most Type 1 decks see Null Rod and go "OH NULL ROD, OH YEAH! RIGHT HERE!" Gee, how true that is.

When things go bad for me they really go bad. (...)Then, today, I check my e-mail and have 2 whole messages. i was feeling kinda special since I usually get 0 messages a day. *sigh* Don't you miss the good old days when they hadn't invented spam yet? Besides, it's not like whiny, 'my life sucks' threads like this don't exist in the community forums of TMD. Admittedly, I haven't seen any on the new boards but there certainly were some on the old ones. Too bad the old community forums aren't archived :) Also: Just go into Computer Programming man, it's were all the future job's are at Bwahahaahaa! Jesus christ, those boards are old :)

Seeing the current craze for T1 (at least if you look at the prizes for Power, Duals, Drains and Mana Crypts etc.), 5-color has not made enough splash to "kill" T1. To me, this is a sure indication that any format that can be DCI-sanctioned will always prevail ovcer a format that cannot. People love their ratings and external regulations too much to stray away from it, I think. And those who would want the big decks of 5-color can play Battle of Wits instead. Dozer
