I took the trip down to try and support YMG's effort to get a Black Boardered Mox. Lets just say that they offered me $50 and a beat Unlimited Ruby for my BB Ruby. I clearly needed to ask if they actually wanted to work something out, or if they wanted to try and rape me. I mean, why not just try and trade it straight up. Obviously I'm still peeved about making the trip and dealing with such a poor attitude from the store. I won't be attending this one.
I agree with the post below. Don't let it happen again.

I'd really like to point out that the ruby that was offered, as I am told, was beat up. The owner has told me that it looked like it was "run over" and looked like it had gotten wet at some point. The store asked what he wanted, and he asked for what the store would be willing to do. After the initial offer of $50 plus mox was made, ELD made no counter offer.
In the future, I'd like to see trades that don't work out not find a home on the tournament announcement posts. This is something that should be kept to PMs or discussed in person. Bad mouthing the store on TMD won't get anything done. No one here walked away feeling happy about the difficult trade, but no one made a post about how much of a "poor attitude" ELD had.

I was clearly out of line there. My apologies. I was trying to post as a warning to anyone who may not know the value of their cards to be careful when dealing with YMG. My emotion stopped that from being credible in any way. The sarcastic tone was not needed and detracted from the simple point I was trying to make. Obviously I should have discussed thing over the phone first with the person I'd actually be trading with. Driving down to RI with the sole purpose of trading certainly added to the aggravation. I'll try to use a more mature tone if I'm going to be critical of anyone or anything in the future. I feel that a warning to the community was appropriate. If it was not, please delete all of my posts in this thread, as they serve no purpose.
