RE Photoshop: I did notice that the illustrations seemed way too similar.
I just assumed they were printed on, rather than actually drawn. It's a pretty easy process, but making the ink stay on the card is a little trickier.

Actually, getting the ink to stay is the easy part.  Just spray some flat sealent on it, from model kits or whatever.  The hard part is getting the damn thing to line up when feeding it into the printer.  I wasted 10 peeled foils easily trying to get my lotus done.  The easiest way is to buy some of that printable decal sheet material, print it, and stick it to a peeled foil.

That part is easy--just print once on a regular piece of paper, then put the card over that and run the paper through again.

I do that, but when I manual feed through the back of my printer the second time, it doesnt always line up exactly as the original print.  Sometimes it's slightly diagonal, or it starts printing a little early of later than before.
