Null Rod with Well of Lost Dreams

Doesn't Well of Lost Dreams get shut off by Null Rod?  I know its triggered, but isn't the pay X to draw X stopped by the Rod?

Triggered abilities are not activated abilities. Null Rod has no effect on Well.
