Comparing a card to intuition is not necessarily a good thing, as Intuition is absolutely insane, and is basically a 2U instant speed Demonic Tutor++, especially outside Type1 where all your cards are 4-ofs. This still seems really powerful, even if it costs 4 (its instant speed, and crappy cards like Inspiration and Diabolic Tutor saw plenty of play, so a 4 mana instant tutor would definitely get played).

Yes, but this card can't be used as a Demonic Tutor like Intuition can. Basically, this card is like Intuition without all the things that make Intuition insane. This card is Intuition except: It can't DT for a card by fetching 3xCARDNAME It can't get AK for 3 It can't double-Entomb It can't get 3 Deep Analysis It can't reliably fetch combo pieces It can't tutor for exactly the card you need This card is basically a "fixed" Intuition. I think it would be fair but strong at   . I can't see any problems with it at  . Obviously, this is better then Inspiration, but it's also worse than Gifts Ungiven. |

Transmute was a half black mechanic. No, Transmute was Blue, and also Black, not "half black". You can transmute just fine for 1, 2, and 3 without ever using Black mana. This is just: "Name three ways to get your bomb". What, like they're going to name 2cc just so they can fetch demonic tutor off this? So what if they do? Oh, I think the name is terrible, because all Argivian cards deal with artifacts, and this doesn't. |

So can we agree on the card now as it is?
At 4 mana its not too strong. Hell, at 4 mana doubt if its even good enough. 4 mana for 1 card, and the card might not even be the one you need.
And the name, any other ideas?
