I'm sure there were many people waiting for this.

How are both 6th and 8th EBA?  Isn't EBA 8th with the Angels and 6th is just B/W/U Aggro-Control?

BTW, seems like a lot of Dragon at this event....interesting.

What's your name and place and I'll fix it.

They both are B/U/W and have Drains and Negators.

I am suprised how THREE U/W/B decks made top 16! A FOURTH took 17th and just made the cut. I played Roger and he was excellent in his playskill. But it is possible that a majority of us have been overlooking a potential deck.

Yes,Tarmogoyf is probably better than Chameleon Colossus, but comparing it to Tarmogoyf is like comparing your girlfriend to Carmen Electra - one's versatile and reliable, the other's just big and cheap.(And you'd run both if you could get away with)

Hi everyone. Roger here.  My friend and I (Kevin Sigman) designed the deck. I know that there have been some versions of the deck running around but we took a fresh stab at it and it turns out that it is pretty good. I wouldn't call it EBA but what's in a name really?  The deck performs well against the field. My only losses on the day was Goblins, Bomberman, and the top 8 against the worse than grow deck that won. All my losses went to 3 games with the most hopless matchup being against goblins. I suppose that is where exhaulted could help.  It is also an enjoyable deck to play if you aren't a fan of combo. It provides interaction with your opponents and is not a draining deck to play.

Just wondering, are the day 2 lists going to be posted on SCG as well? It just sounded so final when they said:

Thanks to Ray Robillard and Justin Droba, all 147 Vintage decklists from the recent Waterbury tournament have now been added to the StarCityGames.com deck database. Enjoy, and we'll see everyone in Boston!

Thanks!

EDIT: I know that no one cares about day 2, but it would be interesting to see the changes people made and if there was any consistency between the two t8's. Also, I noticed that SCG listed the lists as:

Quote
7/29 Waterbury
- All Decklists -

Instead of the usual:

7/29 Waterbury Day 1
- All Decklists -
