This deck has been putting up very strong results for me (admittably online, so probably against sub-par opponents), but I would love any input into it's composition.

Creatures
4 x Tarmogoyf
4 x Dark Confidant
4 x Dimir Cutpurse (should this be 3?)

Disruption
4 x FoW (obv)
4 x Duress
4 x Daze
3 x Stifle

(Should one of these be spell snare?)

Draw Smoothing / Tutoring
4 x Street Wraith
4 x Brainstorm
1 x Mystical Tutor
1 x Vampiric Tutor
1 x Demonic Tutor

Tutorable Brokenesss
1 x Ancestrall Recall
1 x Timewalk

Misc
1 x Echoing Truth (should this be CoV?)
1 x Regrowth

Artifact Mana
1 x Black Lotus
1 x Lotus Petal
1 x Mox Emerald
1 x Mox Sapphire
1 x Mox Jet

Normal Mana (ie. lame Mana)
3 x Polluted Delta
3 x Flooded Strand
3 x Underground Sea
2 x Tropical Island
1 x Island
1 x Strip Mine
(do I need another land... if so what should I cut?)

Any responses/tips would be highly appreciated, as well as possible side board options. Thanks  Very Happy

Welcome to TMD.

Since you're new I'm not going to issue you a warning for it, but your post violates one of our posting rules in that it lacks content.  For this post, specifically, tell us more.  Tell us why you picked your slots, how you perform against other top tier archetypes, and why your build is better than alternative aggro control.

definitely cut the street wraiths.  They are absolutely terrible with Dark Confidant.

also add an engineered explosives.  it is a very versatile card that kills a lot of things in the meta right now.

maybe a second bounce spell in Chain of Vapor of Rushing River.  I like the river better in this deck.

im a fan of shadow of doubt also.  this is obv a tempo oriented deck and shadow of doubt fulfills that role beautifully.

I agree that Streetwraith is horrible with Dark Confidant, but he is using them with Tarmogoyf, with which they are awesome.
So it's a toss up really.  Personally, I think it may be worth it, as he really has no other way to get creatures in the yard and thus is looking at usually only having land, instant and sometimes sorcery and even less often artifact.

Finding a way to fit darkblast in with a tarmogoyf deck is big, as you can usually put an instant in your yard with it (darkblast), a creature (that gets darkblasted) and random other things (dredging darkblast).  So I think that's a great SB choice at least.

spell snare is amazing right now with all the dryads scrolls and what not in the meta, definitely better than daze.
and I'm definitely seconding the the street wraith being terrible, you top deck it with confidant, take 5 then cycle it for 2 and your a third of the way dead. Perhaps a combination of water fount bounce and  shadow of doubt can take this space.

as for your SB, id use the following as a starting point:
4x jailer or leyline   (personally I tend to favor leyline, even with the  {2} {B} {B})
2x snuff out
4x oxidize (perhaps cut strip for 3rd tropical)
2x dark blast

basing your deck around a 2cc creature with no utility doesnt look like a solid vintage strategy to me. Adding street wraith to possibly give a creature +1/+1 while risking to lose 5 life neither..

I would remove street wraith and add 1 or 2 extra echoing truth (given the recent rise of EtW with Gushstorm) and some combination od trickbind/spell snare/disrupt/extirpate or perhaps thoughtseize

If you are in desire for killing your own creatures (or getting them into the 'yard in the first place), why not use cabal therapy? In a deck with bobs and duresses, I think they might not be too bad. And if you have dark confidants, sometimes you're not too sad to see them die.

Perhaps:

-4 street wraith
-1 (or even less) dimir cutpurse

+ 3 cabal therapy
+ 2 waterfront bouncer.

There is a nice interaction between waterfront bouncer and therapy, in that you can bounce their dryad for example and then therapy it away (if you flashback or cast the therapy is not too interesting. If you resolve that, your position isn't too bad.

On a side note: It's proven that waterfront bouncer must have taken Judo hours. How else could he kick out gangstery dryads and Colossi out of the club?
Obviously, the problem is that the rejected customers will accuse you as club owner for being too violent (I was drinking peacfully with a friend of mine blah blah), so get prepared to spend resources on your bouncer (i.e. penalty fees of 1 card)

I will be playing four of these.  I'll worry about the deck later.
