I've all but given up on the card. It looked really cool when it was spoiled but doesn't really cut it on the playing field. I've tried control-slaverish builds and workshop based builds but they didn't work. So I focused a deck around cheating it into play with transmuters or welders and providing mana denial in order to get more out of your opponent's spells. It just isn't working though. If the Triplets even make it into play it is usually too late to actually do anything productive with them and they are too dependent on your random opponent's deck or you are already winning. It is an auto lose to Mana'd Ichorid and most other aggro decks too. Well here's my list. You can judge for yourself but is there anyway these things will work?
Lands: 16
1 Tolarian Academy
4 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
2 Island
4 City of Brass
4 Gemstone Mine

Creatures: 11
1 Sundering Titan
2 Sen Triplets
4 Goblin Welder
4 Master Transmuter

Other spells:
3 Chalice of the Void
2 Crucible of worlds
4 Mana Drain
2 Hurkyl's Recall
4 Force of Will
1 Ancestral recall
1 Tinker
3 Tangle Wire
4 Thirst for Knowledge
5 SoloMox
1 Black Lotus
1 Fastbond
1 Memory Jar
1 Demonic Tutor

Sideboard:
3 Pithing Needle (against Ichorid)
2 Engineered explosives
2 Shattering Spree
2 Tormod's Crypt
4 Mishra's Workshop (against other shop decks)
1 Progenitus (against oath you should try to steal a forbidden orchard and an oath so you can oath out this guy but that's not really a realistic situation)
1 Inkwell Leviathan

I think Cerebral Assassin is a good shell for Sen Triplets and better than the Stax approach you have taken. Take a look at that info from the Vintage Encyclopedia and the articles hopefully it helps to inspire some deck choices. I think Master Transmuter and Mana Drain are too slow if you plan to effectively use Triplets because Triplets are only huge in the first 3 turns. Any deck using Sen Triplets should be built to get it in play ASAP as priority #1.

Mickey Mouse is on a Magic card.  Your argument is invalid.

Well i'll test that approach and see what happens. I'll try and post a list tomorrow.

I just had a little root round in the encyclopedia looking for the Tinker Deck - does anyone else remember that? Just thought Tinker plus 4 Transmutes might be an alternative to the Bazaar engine for cheating Triplets into play. Tried it in Slaver and while, it's a cool card, it still feels very fragile... :/

Here's a not very good cerebral assassin type build that uses tinker, Oath, and Welder to get Triplets into play. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve it please feel free to respond. I've won a couple games with it on MWS but not really by using Sen Triplets. Also, oathing up a welder really sucks. I'm thinking of adding Strategic Planning but I don't know what to cut.

//Lands: 19
1 Tolarian Academy
3 Wasteland
1 Strip Mine
4 City of Brass
4 Gemstone Mine
2 Island
4 Forbidden Orchard

//Creatures: 6
2 Sen Triplets
3 Goblin Welder
1 Inkwell Leviathan

//Other Spells: 35
4 Mana Drain
1 Hurkyl's Recall
4 Force of Will
1 Ancestral Recall
1 Tinker
4 Thirst for Knowledge
5 SoloMox
1 Black Lotus
1 Fastbond
1 Demonic Tutor
3 Intuition
3 Oath of Druids
1 Crop Rotation
1 Mystical Tutor
1 Vampiric Tutor
2 Carpet of Flowers
1 Mindslaver

Sideboard:
3 Pithing Needle
1 Echoing Truth
2 Crucible of Worlds
2 Shattering Spree
2 Tormod's Crypt
4 Mishra's Workshop
1 Hurkyl's Recall

If I was going to play a cerebral assassin build, it would look like this:

4 welder
4 bazaar
4 squee

2 triplets
2 sharuum
1 magister sphinx
1 triskelion
2 sundering titan

1 animate
1 necromancy

3 chalice of the void
3 thoughtseize

3 intuition
1 tinker
1 ancestral
1 timewalk
1 vampiric tutor
1 crop rotation
1 demonic tutor

5 moxen
1 lotus
1 lotus petal

4 city of brass
4 gemstone mine
1 tolarian academy
3-4 strip effects
2-3 more mana

I like triplets in this deck because it acts like a city of solitude on legs. You can also play their land to supplement your mana denial. There are a few space left in the main, but im not sure what to play. there may be enough blue cards to play force, too. with all of the artifacts that cost u, there would be enough pitchable cards. I am also thinking about running stifle in the main, because it helps the mana denial package, it blue, and boards well into masknaught, which I might run to avoid grave hate. the dragon combo was in there to provide an instant win, but it seemed to take up too many spots.

I don't really like playing oat in a deck that runs creatures you don't want to oath up. what are your thoughts? this seems to use the triplets really well.

Unrestrict: Gush, Flash, Frantic search, fact or fiction (probably), and burning wish if it doesn't suck now.

this may be the last time you hear the boogie song.

Your build looks a lot better than mine. I'll have to test it out.

not to be rude... and also the fact that i just joined the site. but i think most of your problems is your all trying to make triplets your main focus.. the center of your decks. try using them as the end result or the fall back, make it more of just plain control. this is one of the 2 triplets decks im running currently..

4 ethersworn canonist
4 sphinx sovereign
4 orims chant
2 tezzeret
3 master transmuter
4 echoing truth
2 scourglass
1 dralnu lich lord
1 goblin welder
1 tinker
1 demonic tutor
3 sen triplets
2 arcane denial
2 iso scepter
1 walk
1 recall
2 averice totem
1 twister
and last but not least.. only for a joke
1 hanna, ship's navigator  lol

the last card was just for fun.. but somehow she works

this is one of 2 i have, this is more for group play i have another thats more one on one
i hope i was of some help  Smile
