Can I assume I'm pre-reg'd?  I'm bringing the prize support (or some of it, anyway)...
And I have protection from Old and Nasty.

This was an awesome event Nick, looking forward to the TO report.

39 players, top 8 was:

1. Mana Ichorid
2. TPS
3. 5C Stax
4. Counterbalance/Top
5-8:  Tezz, Stax, Stax, Double Dragon Oath (<- me)

I have to say I was blown away by my car's performance on the day.... 16-5-3 in the Swiss rounds, good for 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 9th.  Now you guys know what it feels like when NYC bashes us at Blue Bell  Wink

Also pretty awesome to have a top 4 with 4 different decks - and only one Tezz in the top 8 (which was running Trygon Predator in the SB).  2 players ran SCV and went 2-2 and 4-2; both missed T8, although Jeff's rd4 loss to me included a mull to 4 in the deciding game 3.

I had a great time at the event, running it was an absolute blast.

I'll have the T/O report up sometime in the next 24 hours or so.

Thanks to everyone who showed - this event wouldn't have been the same without you guys...

What did the Countertop list look like?

Nick will post the list I'm sure, but I know it had lots of Trinket Mages, which were really ridiculous with the fast mana.  They fetch Mana Crypt, Lotus, Top, Key, and even SB cards like Crypt/Relic and Aether Spellbomb that he boarded in against me (what a beating!).  So he had Trinket Mage, Top, Key/Vault, Goyf, Bob? (I never saw it but I assume it was there), some number of Counterbalance, Mana Drain, FoW, D. Tutor, Vamp Tutor, Yawg Will, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, etc.  It was sort of like a BUG Fish deck that runs broken cards instead of Null Rod.

His list didnt include bobs and his spell bomb was main deck being 61 cards. The deck plays like a trinketbox abusing low costed artifacts and using counterbalance to stop nut turns

Was it Austin? I played against that deck 2 weeks ago at Jim Hanley's I think. It seemed pretty good.
