I just wanted to warn you guys about Troll and Toad. I bought 2 ponder and 1 Natural Order and i recived only the ponders and a letter saying that natural order was out of stock. I thought that they refunded the money when stuff like this happened, so i didn't even bothered to check my paypal account at first. Since it was christmas i actually checked my account since i recived quite a few payments, and noticed that T&T haven't refunded any money.
I have now mailed them ALOT (think +5 mails) and i have not yet getting any answears, so DON'T BUY FROM T&T is my reccomendation.

I sold five Moxen to them many years ago, and also bought an Alpha Black Lotus from them. I didn't have any problems. Have you given them enough time to respond, given the weather, the holiday, etc? Don't forget that bank transfers/refunds take time to show up.
If they screwed up, they screwed up. If they don't fix it, they should be pilloried for it. But they should get the time to make it right. Let's just make sure that they get that.

I had a similar issue and no response via e-mail. I called them, and they very promptly and courteously took care of the issue on the spot. They explained that they've been very backed up with e-mails during the holiday season.
Generally, if you don't get a response by a second e-mail...pick up the phone. Technology is great, but nothing beats real-time communication for arbitration of an issue.

I used to buy from T&T back in the day, but recently I have stopped using them, not because of a bad experience like posted above, but because their website has been so slow that I can't even hardly do card searches on it. It seems like it has gotten a little better recently but for the past 6 months or so it was pretty much non-usable for me and I just stopped even going there. Has anyone else experienced this?

A really minor typo can screw you, and if you've got autocompletion on, that typo could well be repeated indefinitely.

I've used them in the past without incident. I also suggest calling them, that's helped me to resolve unintended mishaps with sellers before.

I have had very good experiences with Troll and Toad. I ordered some Grim Monoliths right before the price increased. And they shipped my order, despite the fact that the price had gone up. I know that a number of online Magic vendors in their shoes would have failed to do so. I've also found them very reasonable to deal with in-person at conventions. I have ordered cards from them on several occasions, all without incident. Therefore, I believe that if you call them, things will straighten out.

I haven't had any problems with Troll and Toad when I have ordered from them.
Also, anyone else open this thread and wondering what the problem would be survival0fueled Workshops?

I just got an order from them, and got the same letter, although mine was for a much cheaper card (1x Firespout). I have not received a refund yet (like they said I would), but I am still hopeful that they will eventually credit my Paypal account or give me credit on their site or something. I have never had any problems with them in the past. I know one of the guys that works there, and I can tell you 100% that he is an honest dealer.

I've filled dozens of orders with them (including my Lotus), never had a problem. I had two times where they had an inventory problem and they refunded me both times, and two times where the item never arrived and they reshipped the order after 90 days.

I have also made dozens of purchases from them and only had two orders where there was a lack of inventory. I was refunded a few days (4-5) without having to contact them. I would gladly do business with them any day. Just give them some time to respond and/or give them a call.

I've bought some small cards from Troll & Toad a few times and never had any problems.
I also think that giving them time for the holiday and/or picking up the phone are good ideas.

Troll and Toad has been one of the most reliable, reasonably priced vendors since the beginnning of the secondary market. Not to belittle your situation, but it seems like you're over reacting a bit. Try exhausting all methods of communication before screaming WOLF and trying to tarnish a solid reputation.
