Thanks to all my opponents for great games and matches. There were some ridiculous situations you all put me in. Nothing quite like going 0-1 and then having to win every round you play.
And thank you nick for crushing ichorid in the top 4, hate that damn deck. Guess I'm still bitter for loseing to it in top 8.

Congratulations to Nicholas S. Detwiler The Third for his stunning victory in the name of evil masterminds the world over. Anxiously awaiting the pictures.

Click here to let Mark Rosewater know how stupid it is that they're going to call "In Play" the "Battlefield."
And copy this into your sig to spread the word.

This was the first event that the Dan Herd Team Memorial Plaque was brought to. Nick will have to provide detail on how many teams participated (I think like 7?) Team MeanDeck won the honor of being engraved first... The next event the plaque will be at is Aug. 1st Steel City (Unless any other TOs would like to participate before hand)

Only because you dropped. If you didn't we would have won the team event as well.

Only because you dropped. If you didn't we would have won the team event as well. Jimmy made me drop to get doughnuts with him. You only won because you ate a doughnut. So if I didn't drop then you lose in the finals and NYSE still loses. Logicians call this the doughnut paradox.

It's alright, now we have something to shoot for. I want us on that plaque.
I have a couple of Padawan that will be fully trained Jedi in the coming months. We will be ready for the next major event. The N.Y.S.E. A Team will show up to play. I still dream of playing the 3rd seat with Sensei and the Godfather sitting to my left.
And donuts... Somehow I think the 100 or so matches against Paul's Tezz list in the month between tournaments had something more to do with my performance than that donut. My match on 5/9 was disgraceful, I didn't show up. That wasn't going to happen twice.
Then again, maybe it was the donut.
Paul, am I going to see you on Saturday?

Those were some awesome pictures, I apologise for non-attendance, but the beach near PT:Honolulu was quite demanding on my time. Especially the first of AJ about to fellate the pen he's writing the decklist with, lust written all over his face.
But some of us tire of these Mastriano-Detwiler finals matchups, come on guys, lets get the game up a bit...

You'll have to forgive me for disagreeing with you Simon. I'd imagine there's at least one other person out there who doesn't seem to mind them that much as well.
