Wow this would effectively kill Time Vault.dec...

Even if we Duress it, it still is there...

How about just making it Counterable but with the Flashback?

This is subtle like a jackhammer.

Agreed, is also doesn't even have a mana cost to begin with, but with such design, I guess it doesn't need one.

I love that the effect is that they lose if they've taken 2 or more turns in a row, but it can only be cast if they've taken 3 or more turns in a row. Hilarious!  The scenario you describe where someone forces you to draw in response to the flashback on this-- is that going to make you say "Good game! Let's play more Magic!"  No.  It's gonna make you wanna play Yu-Gi-Oh!

Ooh maybe I could put it on Isochron Scepter and cast it against just a normal Time Walk!  Even better-- I wonder if 4x This 4x Chronatog will be the new deck to beat in Legacy?  That sounds even less fun than losing to Vault Key.  Or even better-- cast Meditate at the end of your own turn, have more than 7 cards, discard this, and make your opponent lose on their second consecutive upkeep thanks to the flashback.

If you're going to create absurdly narrow answers that are laughably unprintable, you should at least be outrageous.  How about this?

SuperMegaUltra Vault Destroyer

Split Second
If your opponent is playing a Time Vault deck, you may search your library for SuperMegaUltra Vault Destroyer rather than drawing it.
Search target tournament for all copies of Time Vault.  Sharpie errata all of them to use time counters again.

Then, call your opponent a FILTHY BITCH and KICK HIM IN THE KIDNEYS.

You forgot that part.

Needs constant errata about what makes a Time Vault deck.
