another great card when i test hermit build is senseis divining top....hides cards and fixes draws...SOOOO good

I like sensei's a lot right now. The problem is it's to slow unless you plan on playing passed turn three. At best it comes down turn one, fixes turn two's draw and you have a turn three win. Lim-Dul's vault and worldly tutor both do that, and often more easily. I'm working on two lists, one that uses lim-dul's vault/sensei top/ tinker/ gifts/goyfs, and one that consistently wins turn two. Of the two I don't know which I would play tomorrow.

What if you use the Reveillark kill from Flash and just run 4x Shallow Grave?  Then you can win at instant speed during your upkeep for 1BG.

What if you use the Reveillark kill from Flash and just run 4x Shallow Grave?  Then you can win at instant speed during your upkeep for 1BG.

This sounds like an extermely good idea.

If the is what we run, why not 4 rit, 4 shallow grave, reveillark kill, 4 entomb.....this could almost be an intuition or dragon-like combo deck on the back of 8 spells that do not require a creature activation to get the combo in the yard.

Cast Shallow Grave to return Body double (copying Lark), which grabs Carrion Thrash and Body Double (copying  Lark), with the seond Lark trigger on the stack, sac the first Doby Double to the carrion thrash. 2nd Lark  grabs Mogg Fanatic, and Body Double (to copy Lark again). Sac Fanatic to do one damage to the oppoent in reponse to the trigger, and loop infinately. This si the old Flash kill.

Well I haven't tried this, but what if Body Double is not your top creature in the graveyard?  Are you allowed to order any way you want off Hermit Druid's ability?

Actually, I don't believe that would work.  Lark triggers on leaving play.   Maybe...

Shallow Grave -> Sharuum -> Sharuum (infi loop of sharuums with a Bridge from Below in your grave) -> Possessed Portal
Shallow Grave -> Karmic Guide -> Kiki-Jiki -> Kiki-Jiki -> Guide -> Sharuum (infi loop of sharuums with a Bridge from Below in your grave) -> Thousand Year Elixir -> untap Kiki -> Guide -> Hua Tuo, Honored Physician -> put anything on top so you don't die -> ???
Shallow Grave -> Infi loop of Bladewing, the Risen with Bridge in grave -> a dragon with devour and haste via dragon breath.  Dead effectively at sorcery speed.
Necromancy -> Worldgorger -> Shivan Hellkite/Oona?

Has anyone tried See Beyond in Hermit. I think this card fits perfectly into hermit as you are very likely to draw into your combo pieces/narcomoeba. The reason Hermit isn't being played is due to the problem of drawing into these cards. You have to find ways to dump them into your graveyard or theyll be sitting dead in your hand. Dead draws=Game loss. Card advantage=Win.
