The majority of my articles end up being one of the following:
1 – Tournament report
2 – Metagame analysis
3 – Deck primer and/or analysis
4 – Satire targeting a format / WotC decision / DCI policy / other writer
5 – “Filler”
By and large, these “filler” articles – generally done when I sit down without any specific plan on what to write about, and just write for a while – tend to be my most popular and well-received. I wish I knew how to take that, as feedback…
