It's very difficult for me to be objective because I'm such a tigers fan, but I'm going to try anyway:

Let's start with the NL:

Cardinals v. Phillies.   The Cardinals have great sticks, and good arms, but the Phllies are the best team in baseball, with the most insane pitching staff arguably ever, and a few decent sticks.  I'll take the Phillies in 4.

D-Backs and the Brewers
This may be the easiest series to call.   I'll take the Brewers in 3.  The Brewers look like a mini all star team. It's absurd.

Then, in the NLCS, it's going to be a nail biter, but I'll take the Phillies in 6.

AL:

Rangers v. the Rays.   The Rays were extremely lucky to make it to the post-season, and may very well be a team of destiny.   I doubt it though.  I'll take the Rangers in 5.

Tigers v. Yankees.   Neither the Yankees or the Tigers were great early in the season.  But the Tigers are the hottest team in baseball in August and September, and have an entirely different roster than they began with.   I'll take them to win this in 4.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Tigers lose with Verlander on the mound though.

The Tigers also have the Yankees number.  They are the one AL team the Yankees can't seem to beat in the play offs in the last 7 years.

I think the Tigers beat the Rangers in 5.

World Series: Phillies v. Tigers

I think the Phillies will win in 5.   Sorry Tigers.  It's going to be 2006 all over again.

I like all your picks except I'm going to go Brewers over Phillies in the NLCS. The Phillies are obviously the best team in baseball but the Brewers are just a fun team and are really hard to root against. I'm making the call more from the heart than the head, but I think they'd be the best story.

If it ends up Brewers/Tigers, I wouldn't really care who won from there, but I guess I'll stick with it and pick the Brewers.

Im a 100% Brew Crew.  I'm hoping that the Cardinals beat the Phillies and the NLCS will be a replay of the 1982 world series.

I think the Rays pitching staff may get them out of the AL.  I wouldn't be shocked if any of the AL teams win their league.

I'm clearly a homer and I've got playoff tickets for the Brewers so I'm psyched for this post season.

NL:

Cards over Phillies in 5 - Cards are the only team this year to have a winning record against the Phils. Call me crazy, but I think it's enough.

Brewers over D-Backs in 4 - I love the D-Backs arms, but the Brew-Crew has an insane lineup. Kennedy will get the only win for Arizona.

NLCS: Brewers over Cards in 6 - The Cards luck has gotta run out sometime and the Brewers are just the better team.

AL:

Rangers over Rays in 4 - Price has been horrid at home and he will have to pitch there. The Rangers bats will be too much for the Rays.

Yankees over Tigers in 5 - The Yanks are rested and ready for this. The Tigers will win with Verlander on the mound, but not sure if anyone else can win a game, including Fister.

ALCS: Yankees over Rangers in 7 - Who can out-slug who in this series. That's all it comes down to.

World Series: Brewers over Yankees in 6 - It hurts enough to put the Yankees in the Series, but I just can't see the being anyone else's year.

Well, none of us predicted a Cards / Rangers WS.

Never underestimate the Cards...

I think they'll win it.   If they can beat the Phillies and the Brewers, they have to be the best team in baseball...

I don't think I could possibly care less about the outcome of this World Series.

I'm routing for the Yankees to win.  I haven't quite figure out how that will happen yet, but I'm working on my "way back" machine and in the meantime hoping that somehow all teams but the Yankees get DQd from the playoffs.
