D(jk2m2389/wXHJZFYuK6_EN.jpg) Looks good to me, but Bob's don't always attack. Hmm.

Maze of Ith might just become maindeckable in numbers. Bob is still clearly better...but the extra toughness on this isn't unimportant AND it can combo in some instances to draw you multiple cards in a turn.

Innnteresting.
Seems extremely unlikely there's a two-card combo worth running with this. The only card even within the realm of possibility out there I can think of is Ral Zarek. Maze is pretty bad by itself.
Could be great in a Jund good stuff deck, if that's a strategy that can ever work, ever, except for that one time last year. Might excel in BUG Fish.
Superb against Tangle Wire! (Though Bob is just a lot better -- might be nice to have 5-8 of him.)
Seems very hit-or-miss in a typical blue control deck. A kind of interaction those kinds of decks typically don't want.

Seems like an EDH combo card for Mind over Matter and that's about it.

It's also the best Telethopter pilot! Take note! edit: I'm liking the Aura of Dominion interaction, too. Spice.

Nice Bob variant! Handy extra point of toughness for the loops that will have to be jumped through to make it work. Sure someone will try this out with Ral Zarek as mentioned above - or perhaps even Hidden Strings.

Too bad Opposition doesn't read: "Tap an untapped creature you control: Tap or untap target artifact, creature, or land."
Infinite draw for the Win... Not!

Maze is pretty bad by itself.
Well its not *that* bad. It's an uncounterable solution to blightsteel collossus and a way to prevent lodestone golem from doing damage without paying for spheres. Maze could be run with urborg, tomb of yawgmoth, so that it atleast potentially can tap for mana...perhaps Dark times can use this?

The card you are looking for is Aura of Dominion.
It's probably strictly Modern, but it's a wing-dinger there.

Yes, and there is some synergy with root maze, which always wasn't quite good enough but amazing against fetches in theory. Allows him to come online faster.
I know only artifacts and lands come into play tapped, but I still always think it should work with creatures, too. I guess I should read the cards.

I will be playing four of these. I'll worry about the deck later.

Tell that to oshawa stompy , Might be ancient history, but that deck made great use of root maze.
