Eternal Witness - {G}{G} Creature - Human Shaman F Dawn When Eternal Witness comes into play, return target card from your graveyard to your hand. 2/1 Uncommon If this rumor is true, does anyone think 5 color control might be revitalized in a aggro-control style. Or can this card mean that regrowth may see unrestriction. Ex. EW a ancestral, time walk, vampiric tutor, etc.

I think that this would fit best in a G/U aggro control deck...but between oshawa and madness, I don't think there's really anything special here.

Or can this card mean that regrowth may see unrestriction. Regrowth costs G less to play. That's very important.

If the cc of this creature was 2G, then it was playable, but double green is hard to get in a control deck.
I think it's a good extra for my multiplayer deck

But even 2G is a lot worse than 1G.

Holistic Wisdom costs 1GG too, and it doesn't see any (much) play. If green had Force of Will and/or Brainstorm, or say, if this were a blue card, then it would alot better. As it is, I'm sure someone will try and do something with it, somewhere, probably.

This is better than holistic wisdom, as it replaces itself and can beat. However, it still has double green, and only one toughness. I guess if you get a good card out of your yard, and then bait removal from your opponent, it could be a good play, but what is the strategy of the deck it is in?

Some day, some guy will make an Astral Slide deck work in T1... This little fellow will be in that deck.

I'm seeing this going into WTF.dec since it goes right along in the place of regrowth or something else.

This is really a strange card, but I feel like it has alot of potential. Rico makes an excellent point that that one G in the casting cost really makes this guy not nearly as good as he could be. That extra green makes for a more heavy green commitment, so, the decks in which he would fit best in are now the decks that can't make the best use of it. A number of people suggest that this man has a place in a deck like Ostompy, but his strength lies in the ability to recur insanely powerful spells like Time Walk and Ancestral Recall. I fear there may be no place for this man in type I.

If you look, barely any decks even run [card]Regrowth[/card] any more. Why would they bother running its creatured form? I can only see decks like TnT running this over regrowth since its grabbable via [card]Survival of the Fittest[/card] and even that chance is slim to none.
