I wanted to make my sideboard for my workshop aggro deck all foil.  I also realized that I had something against most decks in our area but fish.  Generally, there is next to no combo in the metagame, so here is what I am preparing to beat

Other workshop decks (probably 4 or 5)
Oath LOTS of OATH!!!
TOG
LOTS OF FCG!!!
Fish

So here is the current sideboard I'm using

4x Duplicant (against oath mostly, but good against exalted angels etc)
3x Defense Grid( against any control decks)
3x Chill (FCG)
2x Crucible( Any deck who hurts my land base or has a fragile land base)
3x ?

So I was thinking what can I play against fish that is an artifact, and costs 3 or 4 (for first turn playing)  Then It hit me,

Caltrops   3
Artifact
Whenever a creature attacks, it takes 1 damage

Hmmmm...

Spiketail Hatchling, Cloud of faeries, Grim Lavamancer, Faerie Conclave, etc, will ALL die due to the caltrops if they attack.  I think this could be a very useful tool against the evil that is fish

Please ignore my ignorance if any is noticed but I really think the main reason fish died in the first place was because of Workshop.dec. And this was not just because of Trinisphere, but also because of the very big creatures since about anything larger than 2/2 kills fish.

But of course, I'm now talking mainly about 5/3 and you might be speaking about a different deck. You might want to add how your mainboard looks like so we can judge that too.

Workshop still has Crucible-Wasteland and Triskelion. I don't really see the need for Workshop 'tech' against Fish, of all decks. I suppose if you wanted to absolutely guarentee that you wouldn't lose to Fish (with decklists circa last summer), then Caltrops is nice. However, Rack and Ruin might allow Fish to ignore it.

not to mention caltrops is a card that has already been mentioned a while back, and it's not a new tech, i'll be a broken record and say fish doesn't have a very good matchup with workshop as it is.
