This card was just previewed today.

 {2} {W} {W} - Seht's Tiger

Creature - Cat

Flash
When it comes into play YOU gain protection from the color of your choice until the end of the turn

3/3

Now this is most likely a pretty crappy card, but I would have to wonder if this could possibly find its way into the MD or SB of fish as a 2/3 of.  It seems like it would be extremely strong in the fish mirror, as well as being a really strong answer against tendrils.  While it is slow, the main upside and reason for really looking at this is that it is one of the only reactive answers fish can play to stop tendrils that is NOT duressable.  Because it is a creature, the only way an opponent can win if you have the 4 mana available is to have the FOW ready while they combo off.  This means they also have to take care of any of your other counters that you may have in hand.

What do you think?  Does this have any potential in Feinstein fish?  Could allowing a lot of damage to come through only to play this and swing back be a potentially strong weapon in fish?  Who knows.  Well...maybe Feinstein.  I still have a feeling this card might cost one too much to be playable, as at  {1} {W} {W} I'm sure it could find its uses.

I don't think it has much merit in the fish mirror due to the fact that it gives you protection and not your creatures. It is easily dazed as well. Tendris will also be difficult to stop with this due to the fact that once you hit 4 mana if you are still alive and have this in your hand you need to keep four mana up to make this effective. That reduces the amount of threats you can play and gives them time to build up a good hand.  If you do that you give them time to play around him by either playing ETW or by just countering him.

Who would SB this over True Believer or Orim's Chant?

In Extended, it's a whole other story.

It costs four mana and isn't Gifts Ungiven.
