This week's article is a review of current ceature-based strategies that have been successful in Vintage over the past few months, with particular attention paid to Noble Fish due to its strong performance against Oath of Druids:

http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/vintage/18679_The_Long_Winding_Road_One_Fish_Two_Fish_Noble_Fish.html

I take a look at Noble Fish, Selkie Strike / Slam, and Blue/Red Fish as well as the two more successful "beats" decks, G/W Beats and Meandeck Beats.

Enjoy!

I too am surprised by the mid-Atlantic metagame and how few creature decks there are.  It is especially odd to see such few Fish decks in the Blue Bell area, considering that Fish decks of one stripe or another have won there twice in my recent memory.

Looking to Europe it seems very strange that there is a plethora of combo and Fish there, while here there is a lot of Oath and Dredge.  None of those archetypes seem to cross the ocean much.  This is all generally speaking of course.

Anyway, this was a nice article.  Hopefully it will shed some light on the topic and spark some interest for a deck that seemingly doesn't get the credit it deserves.
