Please note the change in date to offer more vintage events in the new year!
VINTAGE in 2011!!!
I just want to thank everyone who has shown their support in me over the last 6 months. As always, I appreciate any feedback and enjoy holding these tournament for the community, thanks for helping, and I hope everyone has enjoyed themselves up here in Bloomsburg! So with that said, let me introduce... The Council Open #1!
When: Saturday January 22nd, 2011
Start time: 12:00 pm
(registration begins at 11:00 am)
The Hosts:Shawn Griffiths (kameli0n)
Eric Smith
What: Unsanctioned Vintage Event
(Decklists required)
Swiss rounds with cut to top 8 (or 4 if attendance requires)
Where: The Player's Guild
Columbia Mall
Columbia Mall Drive
Bloomsburg, PA 17815
Fees: 25 dollar entry fee (10 proxies allowed)
An additional 5 proxies can be purchased for 1 dollar each
Prize Support: First: Unlimited Time Walk - guaranteed
Second: Library of Alexandria - based on 35 participants
Third: TBA depending upon attendance
Fourth: TBA depending upon attendance
NOTE: Everyone, please keep in mind, second through fourth prize is always based upon attendance. The last tournament had 26 people and a second prize of 100 dollar dealer credit, 3rd and 4th were 50 dollars dealer credit each, and the player who ended highest with no proxies recieved a misty rainforest. So keep in mind, if attendance continues to improve, so do the prizes. If attendance gets high enough, there is always the potential for first prize to improve as well!!!! Please everyone, show your support, come out and be part of another great event in our newest vintage tournament location. The Council Open in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania!!! FYI!!!!! Council members should do their best to attend!!!
And once again, I will be set up on location as a dealer for all your buying, selling, and bartering needs.
Hope to see our previous champs and all challengers there!!!

Due to a miscommunication, the date of this event will be changed in order for more events to be scheduled in the month of January, as well as pay homage to Nick Coss for all the help he has provided to me in this business over the last few months. It will also be muuuucccccchhhh easier for us to coordinate dates now that Nick and I have eachother's phone numbers! (thanks Keith). So everyone, go play vintage in blue bell on the 15th, and then finish out the new year with vintage in bloomsburg, PA!!!

Then how are you ventilating the main reactor? everyone knows that the only way to build a Deathstar is to have a perfectly straight tunnel leading to the main reactor or it will overheat and blow up when you try to fire the planet destruction beam. Unless your Deathstar was built for peace, I recommend uncovering said hole. |

Mr. Kohler, I am unsure of anyone that comes from down that way, but the best I could do is meet you somewhere in Frackville or Gordon, both off 81 on your way up I-81, and drive you the rest of the way.
