Had our first tournament-sized turnout last night at Huzzah Hobbies (http://www.themanadrain.com/index.php?topic=41990.0).  Eight people showed up to play Vintage and have a good time. Ryan ("Valorale") and I loaned out four decks to people who needed them.  All of the entry fees were given out as store credit -- $20, $10, $5, $5.

I apologize for not having everyone's last name.

1st - Doug Azzano, Cobra Gush (3-0)
2nd - Joe (KoboldsRfun) Tanner, Turbo Tezz (2-1)
3rd - Scott (piperider361) Simoneau, Golden Gun Oath (2-1)
4th - Ben, High Tide Combo (2-1)
5th - Ryan (Valorale) Seeley, Noble Fish (1-2)
6th - Elizabeth Moes, RG Belcher (1-2)
7th - Luke, MUD (1-2)
8th - Nat Moes (me), 2 Card Monte (0-3)

The best part of my night was telling my wife that when she killed someone (me) on turn one with Belcher, it was tradition to stand on your chair and shout, "Turn one kill!" Then next game I did it to her with Leyline-Helm.

Legacy tournament next week on March 21, and Vintage again on March 28. We're getting some good traction on these events and people are starting to look forward to them. If you're in the area, look for us every Monday at 6 p.m. at Huzzah.

You moved this to 6 PM? I was concerned about getting out there by 5, but 6 seems a lot more reasonable. Good idea.

I made it a point to remind everyone these people are whats wrong with the format

Yea were doing 6pm, any earlier is too difficult for people to make it out to

Had 8 people for Legacy this week, enough for our second consecutive tournament!

1st Scott (piperider361) Simoneau - Merfolk
2nd Doug Azzano - Forgemaster Aggro
3rd Nat Moes (me) - Forgemaster Aggro
4th Ryan (Valorale) Seeley - Team America
5th Paul (Sculptini, Mr. Type 4) Mastriano - BUG Fish
6th Ben - Ad Nauseam
7th New Guy - Didn't see what he played
8th Abe (Katzby) Corson - High-Tide Candelabra

Same prize structure as last time--all entries given out as store credit: $20, $10, $5, $5.
