I just noticed Wasteland dropped from around $100 to $50 in the last few months. Is there a particular reason for this? Did overall Legacy cards take a drop or are people just playing less with Wastelands?

Looks to me like its price is dropping IRL, too:

you could easily buy a "light play" one for 60$.

For whatever it's worth, I was in the market for Wastelands about a month ago, and I was surprised that they were as low as they were.  I was building a second Vintage deck, wanted one, and picked it up for about $60.  I thought I was in for $80+.

I imagine it also has to do with Wasteland being reprinted as Judge Promos:

Oh, I thought those had been out for a while already, however that shouldn't flood the market enough to warrant a 50% drop.

Oh well, time to stock up then!

Wasteland was seeing quite a bit less play in legacy for a while because the best tempo deck (Delver) didn't want it when it got to run 4 treasure cruises and cheat on the manabase.
