Lol@Lackey.

I hope we dodged a bullet here.  Inaction can be the best action, it's good the DCI have realized that.

Thank Goodness.  Although the changes to extended seem a little funny.

I think they'll be changing it on us after Mirr. Not neccesarily workshop, but I think they'll have to alter the t1 meta a little.

Although everyone who plays Ext is pissed that their deck is unplayable in a month, they made the right decisions on what they banned, Turn2 Verdant, Turn2 Siege-Gang+Recruiter and Turn2 crazyness was simply too fast for their desired Ext metagame.

I still feel they should have just reprinted StP. That would have solved two out of three problems.

Wow, i was thinking almost the exact same thing Matt!  I'm still wondering about the degeneracy of Frantic Search.  It's similar in function to Early Harvest..  Makes me a little sad..  I guess I will have to forego Extended and stick to Type 1.

Considering white isn't really played in 1.x, it wouldn't of changed much.

If they had STP, white would be played.

Actually, I thought Nicolas Labarre 6-0'ed with WW/u in 1.x at Worlds.

He went 5-1, but it was a rogueish design.  With all these fast ass decks gone, I am really afraid dumb T2 decks like Wake will gain popularity in Ext, Tinker and Tog, espically the Gush versions will be very big by October.

Anyways, since T1 wasn't touched, and we're talking about Ext, I think this needs to be moved .

Perhaps that's what they want, Mark.

Extended used to feel like type 1-light (but not retarded like 1.5).  Rotations cause it to feel more and more like t2-plus.

So now we're looking at the type 2 decks with a bit more options.

Hence I gave up on everything but type one. Razz

That, and allow FoW in the format.

That would've made the format enjoyable enough in my eyes.

FoW would of been good before this B/R list for control to have a chance but now the format is going to be much slower and FoW would probably be too good of a weapon for Control.

I guess I am back to playing my Pattern deck.\n\n

The extended changes were all very welcome. If I want to play a fast format, I'll play T1 where FoW and StP and Balance are there to neuter vicious starts. Lackey + Goon or Lackey + Gang-bang Commander is just too fast.

These changes make 1.x more open and slower, and thus more interesting in my opinion. I will actually enter the New Orleans-PTQs with a determination to qualify now, not just get prizes ;o)

WOULD NOT HAVE CHANGED

Or, to express what you were trying to say:

"wouldn't've"

However, "wouldn't have" is best.

Please do not be illiterate. Thank you.
