I don't know if this is the right place, but if it's not can some mod please move this to the appropriate place.
I'm trying to find a good anti-tog card, that is preferably either black, blue, or green. So far I've come up with Sorceress Queen, but thats just about it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
One more thing, while you're at it, if you could list some non-creature anti-tog cards in those colors please, thanks

Llawan, Cephalid Empress.
Not that that's going to come close to stopping Hulk, but it was in a few Invasion/Odyssey T2 Tog sideboards for a while IIRC.

Contagion? Contagion!
You can even cast it EOT! And it doesn't totally blow against other decks! WHAT IS NOT TO LOVE.\n\n

Hidden guerilla's could be good against a few different decks, and they're so cute!

Faceless Butcher is janky, but would work, I'd probably rather play with Diabolic Edicts though.

Quote (erik @ Sep. 03 2003,18:57)Sentinel is a classic That's always the first thing that comes into my head when I think of an anti-tog creature. Fog of Gnats would be okay as well if it wasn't for berserk.

Royal Assassin is so much cooler than Sorceress Queen.
Gilded Drake and Waterfront Bouncer both work pretty well.

-waterfront bouncer and royal assasin are pretty good for creatures. -any cheap bounce card. -innocent blood used to be good sb for it when misdirections were around. -maze of ith -either edict. -HOBBLE!
sentinel sounds more fun though.

Forcefield - it's not that good, but I had someone go first turn lotus forcefield on me when I was playing GAT once. God, that was annoying.

EXILE! Not only to do you remove their critter from the game...but YOU gain life for it! And 2U isn't that expensive...
Swords is great if you don't plan on winning by dealing damage. Although Parfait really wouldn't mind your opponent gaining alot of life.
Voracious Cobra! C'mon...First Strike AND the Basilisk-effect. Guess what that means? You block the 'Tog, the 'Tog dies, and your Cobra lives...even Trample won't help there.

Huh?The query was for U/B/G stuff. Of the creatures, I like the Bouncer the best, although Sentinel is just plain cool. As for non-creatures, you've got all the good stuff from Black: Edict, Therapy, etc. From Green, hmm, I suppose you could try Tangle or Moment's Peace. Not much from Blue would help, other than Mana Drain and FoW. \n\n

One a more serious note, what kind of deck is this for? Obviously, some suggestions (eg Cursed Totem) may not work with just anything. A little info on what you're building would help a lot. Serrated Biskelion is fun, but it takes several turns and only stops one Tog. It's easy on the mana, though. I think my other suggestions were better.\n\n

As far as general answers to Tog, most of the re-active answers given (sentinel, assassin, immolation, etc.) are less effective unless you can put the deck (Hulk) on a decent clock. Given time, the Hulk player will just use its wishes to find the right utility, or drop pernicious deed (if its games 2&3).
Even if you have them on a clock, they can always drop the Tog and block until they've out drawn you and then use wish. A better solution is to either use a creature that evades Tog, or a creature that breaks down Hulk's engine. Some options are:
river boa (slow) hypnotic spectre (slow, but the disruption is key) goblin piledriver (not GBU) sea singer (good if you can get them to cast it, faceless butcher fits in this category) xantid swarm (doesn't effect tog, but may cause hulk fits)
I haven't thought about it too long, but hopefully at least my different approach will be helpful.

As a WW player I'd recommend you something like Whipcorder:)
On a more serious level I think you shouldn't really rely on creatures to stop tog, but rather on cards. So far I found the best to be Maze of Ith: it's uncounterable, tog doesn't have anything to deal with it... It's really, really good.\n\n

SMOTHER. That is what the card was designed for. Also Spinal Villian, the 1/2 from Legends that taps to kill a blue creature, is good, but it is red...so no dice. Still SMOTHER rox.

Rofl on the Spinal Villain. I'd love to see that card in a tournament deck. Lots of good suggestions here. Cabal Therapy's great, but he's asking for creatures people. Do you see Therapies walking around?

Northern Paladin, Control Magic, Binding Grasp, Confiscate, Treachery, Spinal Embrace, Yavimaya's Embrace...
Admittedly, only one creature on the list, but he's a permanent answer at least.

I don't think deed was mentioned and that works in your colors, so does spike weaver, it stalls nicely with the oath engine(if you are playing the oath engine, i like to side morphling out and side in phantom nishoba)going. Withered Wretch makes the tog quite a bit smaller, or planar void which stops numerous decks in adition to tog.

I second Royal Assassin. Even if you're playing several colors, most of the Hulk variants really don't pack too much land kill, so the double black casting cost is pretty easy to manage.
This feels shameful to admit it but.... I do like the new 8th art for royal.
