T1 tounament in Québec city.

There will be an unsanctioned T1 tounament at boutique l'imaginaire, in Québec city on february he 15th.  Entry fee is 7$. for more informations you can go to :

Type1 is very popular in quebec city, an average of 60-65 people always show up for the t1.  

I know that many of you won't come but ... the invitation is up !

Could you give more details? Are there any special rules? What kind of rounds are they using? Swiss format + single elimination Top 8? What kind of prizes are there? What time does registration starts? And what time does the tournament starts?

The tournament is 5 matchs of swiss round.Each of the 5 matchs is a best of 3. All people are equally distriduted between 4 pools.  The top2 of each pool will for the top8. Each pool is between 13-17 people, depending on the total number of attendance. 45 minutes are allowed to finish the best of 3.

prizes are as follow:  

1st:  100$ cash (cdn) or 125$ in gift certificate
2nd:  70$ in gift certificate
3rd-4th:  35$ in gift certificate
5th-8th: 10 $ in gift certificate.

If there are more than 50 people ( as always ) there will be 4 additionnal prizes of 10$ ( in gift cetificate)
